hi guys, i've a simple question. actually, i've a monty with 5 engy and 4 reps, what
should i look for the 9th slot of the nebby? 1 rep? 1 engy? 1 seaman?

You won't hit the repair cap for the US with just 3 repairers.

I know because I have 3 maxed out Reps * meaning lvl 120 *. They all have about 180~190
vets on them each
and I'm not hitting the rep cap.

I'm still confused as to how a Seaman would help a CV crew that much given that they top
out around (IIRC) 3% improvement in abilities.

As for a BBs... they do add more repair than an engineer (more Repair true ability at
least), though you can never load enough engineers for a seaman to add more overheat time
(or even speed) than an additional engineer (assuming my above understanding is correct).

Everybody! Run the exact same setup as each other! The one who stands out is
automatically a noob.

Ehh besides that. I used a seaman on my other bb crew. I don't care if there's a benefit
or not. The beauty was that when I finally got a bb6 I had one incredible seaman to
buff my cv crew through the levels. Food for thought.

You can also do well with 4 engineers and a seaman instead of 5 engineers. The
seaman boost adds just as much overheat time as a 5th engineer and you end up
with more repair out of the deal.

The seaman is also very useful if you're running a CV as a second ship line. Pilots
love him. =)

End the disscussion at:
2 main gunners
2 reload gunners for AA
5 engineers
3 repairers
1 scout

You get decent OH time + repair cap if you have +12 repairers with enough vets. AA
is highly recommended, if you don't know how to AA, learn it, so you won't be a
noob.

My Nebraska setup is.

1 BO
2 Acc
2 Rld
4 Repairs
6 Engineers
1 Scout

Leveling 2 additional sailors were a bit of a pain. ^^

Only BO and main gunners need to be 120, rest must be 115.
