  • A Guide to Selling Neuts (April 2010)

I will mention 2 ways to sell them. You can sell them fast/cheap or slow/expensive. Fast
prices are ones at which you can make a quick sale for cheap whereas slow prices are good
prices but often take awhile to sell. For ease sake, I will only mention the bases
commonly sold.

This assumes the neutral sailor is unboosted and at the required level 12.

15pot:
Fast: 350k credits
Slow: 750k credits

12acc/11rel or 11acc/12rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 2m credits (pair)
Slow: 6m credits (pair)

12acc/10rel or 10acc/12rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 1m credits (pair)
Slow: 2m credits (pair)

12acc/9rel or 9acc/12rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 500k credits (pair)
Slow: 800k credits (pair)

11acc/11rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 600k credits (pair)
Slow: 1.1m credits (pair)

12torp:
Fast: 300k credits
Slow: 500k credits

12aaw/10rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 550k credits (pair)
Slow: 1m credits (pair)

10aaw/12rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 1m credits (pair)
Slow: 2m credits (pair)

12aaw/11rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 1m credits (pair)
Slow: 2m credits (pair)

11aaw/12rel:
Note: Sell these in pairs for best results.
Fast: 1.5m credits (pair)
Slow: 3m credits (pair)

12rep*:
Fast: 400k credits
Slow: 700k credits

12rest*:
Fast: 350k credits
Slow: 600k credits

12eng*:
Fast: 400k credits
Slow: 1m credits

12air/10x:
Fast: 300k credits
Slow: 700k credits

12air/11x:
Fast: 700k credits
Slow: 1.5m credits

10air/12x:
Fast: 350k credits
Slow: 800k credits

11air/11x:
Fast: 200k credits
Slow: 600k credits

* = Assumes the base for the other two support qualities is equal to 10. For example,
12rep/10res/10eng.

x = Either the Fighter or Bomber attribute; Interchangeable. For example, 11air/11bom =
11air/11fig.

These prices are based off of personal experience. I've made a lot selling neutral sailors
this way. Prices are debatable. Argue if you like, but I stand by the ones I listed, as
they work well for me. I don't claim that AAW or Aircraft are useful stats. However, it
is undeniable that some people will buy sailors based on these stats, so they're included
in the guide.

I am sure that after the CV patch this August, prices changed for pilots.

No use anymore to have two good stats.

Since then, for fighters, the aircraft or the bomber stat does nothing whatsoever. Same
for bombers with the aircraft or fighter stat. And scouts do not benefit from fighter or
bomber stats anymore.

Ok thanks... then I guess into the garbage chute they go. Not going to bother wasting
time leveling and trying to sell them.

12/9ers sell every now and then but almost noone cares for 12/8, I tried.

11/11 sell a lot better.

This guide helped a lot! Thanks.

I currently have a pair of 12acc/8rld neut gunners. I am wondering if it's worthwhile
selling them, given their low reload stat, and how much I should expect for them. They
are just level 1 right now, so should I level them up and sell, or should I just dismiss
them?

I like this guide, but are the prices outdated?

I too am wondering about the Aircraft stat. Reading Adalbert's updated guide I saw that
bomber stat is now useful for fighters and not aircraft. How happy I was when I realized
that when I was rolling for my pilots I paid attention to aircraft+fighter and
aircraft+bomber! Every one of them has +12 aircraft, the fighters have either +11 or +10
fighter (I was impatient0 and the bombers the same.

They completely suck now, and I'm spending hours and thousands of mouse clicks rolling new
pilots. That means I'm finding more than a few neuts with +12s that I'm gonna have to
level to sell, and now I have a basic price guide.
How often do people trade neuts? What if I wanted to trade a bunch of +12s in other stats
(not AAW or aircraft, or +12 in acc but +9 in reload or anything like that) for some 12/11
fighter/bombers? Does trading happen often or is it always selling?

I always thought the aircraft stat applied to how fast you can load the planes off the
deck, perfect for rookiepilots with mines :) Then again im just guessin here...

Opnav- Some people don't care to know what things mean before they buy it. Example:

"HI I WANNA BUY ALL FULL ELITE BVE CREW @ 120 PLZ PM THX."

You don't freaking need elites at 120, but some people insist on having the best possible
stats regardless of price. It's quite silly. But instead of mope about how dumb people
are, I'll just go right ahead and charge them extra for a useless stat.

Dumb people are good for business.

once again im very confused by the aircraft/fighter/bomber stats, if Adalbert's ability
guide is true, and aircraft stat does nothing, then why the hell do people care if its +12
or not?
