Normaly classed us fighters are not. Maybe with more vets mine would be but I'm not
willing to spend more money for those on crew I dont use anymore. What gives fighters aaw
immunity is bomber skill which is lost with each class. Elites are +9 bomber base.

I was under the impression that bomber stat is the one that makes you AAW-proof.

US fighters NEVER get aaw immune, my lv 118s (only 11/10s) but still have 3000+ aircraft
and 3600+ fighter will survive over an H44 and SY and will be able to make about 5-6
passes over them before getting shot down. They can make about 3 over a montana and 2 over
an L2

If u drag them slighly above the lowest altitude u can go, they fare much better, mine
dont get hit by H44 SY Montana, but still get hit occasionally by an L2. Bringing your
fighter on minimum altitude towards a sodak is suicide (they have no chance)

It seems like the more experts and vets you have directly affect AAW dodge ability. I
have 2 ftrs, 61, the other 62...full BVE and they avoid AAW quite nicely...unlike my
bombers :( Most of the time I try to keep them 200 or so feet below the default.
They still take damage, however, if they follow carrier planes down while they are in
their landing run. I try to avoid that :)

However, I am still too much of a noob to know at which level they become immune.

ermmm from what i remember my lvl 65-70 ft could go low before getting hit by AAW....like
2/3-3/4 down from default. thats unboosted, unvetted (50...) no xpert noob crew too. base
were 10-11 ft. most ft over 80 i see are AA immune those day.
