  • Credit Deposit for Harbour Attack

100 million credits (or whatever amount works, I just picked a random amount) as a deposit
to declare on a harbour, which you get back if:

- Reach the harbour tile

- Get X% of you deposit back if you withdraw within a certain period of time, such as 1 hour.

This should help stop/limit the effects of pathetic joke fleets trying to waste time, and
in turn blocking HA for fleets that actually want to play.

Please discuss this idea. I bumped a similar thread, which was asking for a cost.

or maybe instead of a credit hike, maybe a ship criteria, maybe a fleet needs to have
so many of a certian lvl before an attack can be made, im not speaking of 6s but
maybe they need to have at least enough 5s to put up a some what of a fight and
make it intresting

Dont you think this will kill even more the game? Some people want to see what HA is and
this will make it imposible. Also what is the so big deal if noob try to take your
harbor?The king dont want to be bothered?This will make fleet's that hold the harbor's
hold them forever.

It will be better there to be battle between 2 or more fleets that want to atack the
harbor and winner get the option to atack.

I like your idea there, slowly increase but only if you have evidence that it's a dummy
attack. That way they know which fleets to hit better than per say doing that to fleets
who have to cancel a HA halfway through.

Obviously we already have the credit deposit at 8m, and this hasn't worked. So an
increase is needed, I think the best way is to increase it slowly until the dummy attacks
stop.

Well, Lj then we need to figure this out so SSF or some other fleet doesn't abuse the
feature again =/

It's a good idea, but I'm just wondering if it might make HA into an activity solely for the
'rich and powerful.'

HA is seemingly the most enticing aspect within NF (for an older player anyway) and it
might be difficult to find the right price/cost to balance the removal of timewasting with
simply eliminating many fleets from the prospect of attacking.

Still Recce'd, but it would be difficult to implement.

I don't agree with making a smaller fleet come up with more money.

Devil that's the point, it encourages fleets to actually be fleets rather than
individuals. So say this

X = squads
F = main fleet
C = credits
H = HA

X and F must generate enough C before they can declare on H.

What is does is make a teamwork aspect to prepping for a HA rather than a individual.

I like it but I dont, there are fleets that can do HAs but can afford a steep price, I
know 100 mil was just a number LJ but some fleets 40 mil + is a little much, and if
they lose that credits well thats alot of work for some fleets

I like the idea, just not the way it would be handled
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
