  • NF On Flash Drive

Ok, I was able to make this work on my home computer, since 1GB flash drives
(Even 2GB in some cases) are a dime a dozen now, I thought I could save disk
space by mounting NF on one. I learned that the volume headder (E, F, G, ect) is
very important because the updater and launcher don't work correctly unless there
is a folder for it to update where it expects it. So if you do it, make sure your flash
drive is always the same letter as the letter it was when you installed it. (you can
actually change volume letter asignments in your system settings.)

Now I run into a problem, because I wanted to see if it would work on other
computers if I took it to them (I know, registry key dosn't transfer :( but I
thought "Hey, smiple enough game, and it works here, why not elsewhere?") and I
get the 0xF3B2 error :(. Is there any way I can mobilize my NavyField?

already been suggested by me before on somewhere else. Probably general discussion.
Hackshield doesn't support it on flashdrive. So just give up buddy. But SDE said he will
pass the msg to AhnLab about making hackshield useable on flash drive.

Your launcher isnt being run as an administrator maybe. This error often occurs with
corrupted or unauthorized executions of the launcher

Just one: Install windows on the flash drive. It means you'll need to swap drivers when
you shift between machines, but it is doable.

It's just bloody difficult.
