the one thing that a effective monty driver has over any other nation is
patience. the guy who is going up against a monty almost always loses patience first
which in turn opens the door for the kill shot for a monty driver
a monty is arguably the best ship to sling shot with IMHO due to hit power, whether
or not you use gradual or simultaneousall though in a monty i highly rec
simultaneous for the damage output, if you know your angles and know the ship
well enough to use it properly a monty is a very fun to drive, but in the same breath
is a very tough ship to drive due to its fat ass, slow turn rate, lack of range, lack of
rep speed and worst OH time of all BB5. regardless of whether or not your looking
for a one shot kill or a 1 shot cripple, a monty when used correctly is a game
changer
and a really good monty driver fears no other BB5 or BB6 as long as he's not blind
due to the ships capability for killing

a blind monty is a dead one, a monty that can see is a deadly one

Ive managed to one shoot quite a few ships my proudest moment is when i 1 shot a
L2, man he was %$$#@%ed off lol, have had a couple of h44 and many others.
I love the one shot monent it puts a tingle down ya back :)

anyways I tent to never stay in a line and wait for that one shot, its too risky to get
uber rushed, and besides what if they fake rush; you fire, then miss. 3 seconds rld time =
gg.

I prefer slingshot over the regular style, for both the trip and the duals ( even more
range muhahha).

I have plenty of time using the L2, SY, H44 and Alsace. You think I only play on 1 server
boggin?

personally i dont like the trade off shell for shell i play it like i would a sub i
keep going underwater lol keep up the great aa and sink you later

I personally find the Monty the easiest BB5 to play in the game.
Sling shotting is much easier in lower angle guns

How can you comment on your play style when you dont have an L2, SY, or Alsace,
and thus have barely played any of them?

I personally do the following

Max Velocity @ Max Range line fighting. I use the slingshot on BB6s only (And certain BB5
players who are very skilled)

I use Gradual to Splash myself to start repairing faster.

I Play offenseively against players I know I can sink if I don't screw up.

I play defensively against players I know if I get into their range I'll get my self 2 shot.

I will try to make my opponent make a mistake.

In an L2 I play offensive 90% of the time.

In an SY I get carried away with the AA guns.

In an Alace I play a mixture of the L2 and Monty Play style

In an H44 I just annoy myself with the fail shell damage.

i find monty better for defensive play. let them make the first move.. lead the target
and plant ur shells. It can make a nice rush but only when ur target is really not
expecting it. otherwise ur toast. partly because the monty handles like a pig.
