seeing how there seems to be a spike in CV bomberwhores im going to take my time in this
attemt to restore usefulness in CV's and to help noob CV's bcome noobs no longer.

the typical CV role:
a CV is not a frontline battleship, a CV is considered more to be a support ship, being a CV
you must be flexible, and help your BB's (north or south) to win, you will likely be blamed for
your teams loss, if someone thanks you take a screenshot, and treasure that rare moment.

fighters:
your CV should be loaded up with more fighters than any other plane, and your team loves it
when you launch these baybies. use them to scout the enemy, and when scouting DO NOT
leave them at the default hight (or at least be sure to avoid AA escorts) be shure to check
what might be flying over or to your BB, as the enemy might have sent bombers or fighters
and its your job to clear the sky's dont leave it entirely to the AA escorts. remember one of
your primary roles is too make shure your BB can see and the enemy's cant. as far as the
amount of fighter pilots go, you can get away with 2 (i dont recommend it) 4 fighters and 4
bombers would be better

locals:
these were added in so that people with lower level fighter pilots can do a little more in GB's
(no not to ecourage bomberwhoring) i personally have not used them much (probobly will
whith my KM crew) i wouldnt use them once you get your T2 fighters (zero's) they are
effective at keeping a "sheild" over your teams BB's, however for the scouting role they are
next to useless.

bombers:
only use these when you have the enemy effectivly scouted, and launch them as fas as you
can to get more fighters in the air as your controll of the air is likely to change (remember
flexibility) do settle on one target remain flexible, the odds are it might sink or retreat behind
AA cover by the time your planes get there, go for the most ideal target, such as a crippled
BB, or that BB6 that threatens your team (AA escorts are fine as well)

DB: unlike TB's these are usefull from the begining, think of them as if they are dropping BB
shells on steriods, however manual bombing with them is next to impossible so you dont
have much controll over thier accuracy

TB: these shine in later lvls when you can launch swarms of them, and when their airgun
immine (AAW fire) once these baby's eat through a ships buldge its like getting attacked by a
SS.

some common Q and A

skip oyodo?
i say yes, get it if you want you can get some easy credits with it, but do NOT go into GB's
with it only go into blitz in GB you pilots (and ship) are not good enough to compete with
other CV's.

skip hosho?
i didnt, you can compete with other CV1's and makes a decent learner ship, some say
different the choice is up to you.

hosho or junyo?
if i get a BO reset id likely go down junyo just to try it, junyo has longer grinds but are
considered to be slightly better i cannot confirm this though, i went hosho and do not regret
it, the choice is up to you.

mogami CV?
if your going down junyo line and really want to try CV, go ahead, its pretty much a hosho,
and can almost compete with CV1's, i would try to avoid GB if you can.

im open to constructive critisism, thank you for your time i hope this helped

other than that kudos for the effort, but i feel the information would be easily obtained
in one of the rather numerous CV threads already in existence.
