  • 14"Ls spread

So, my question is.
I'm getting the KGV soon (half a level) and then its a nice grind to the PoW.

But, my question is when i do get the PoW.

Whats the spread like for the L's? I know its not gonna be the N's but i just wanna
see if its bearable while using it. I know i can only have it one the front gun, and
rear one, which is only 8 barrels, same with 2 front gunned pows, i also realize that i
will only be firing 4 shells when rushing, but its not hard to turn and give a
broadside. I've realized I'm going to get critized by this question, but i a curious
camper, and like looking at all the available setups to see which i'd prefer going.

Thanks.

I just tested the quad 14" L on my lion1 (test mission) because I wanted to see the
spread, and I found it really good with my lv 104 +10 gunners. So no need to be 120... and
the range ! they have nearly as much range as the lion guns ! that shows how big the range
difference between the iowa and L1 is...

Iowa does not range the lion by that much. It's the nature of BB4 battles that makes the
lion range so terrible... well, that and the crap speed the lion has now.

Oh, and who cares what the spread of the 14"L is now. Face it landing all ten 14" L
shells on a BB will give you less total damage than landing all 6 Mk3N shells on the same BB.

Hell, landing 4 Mk3N shells might be more damage than ten 14".... not to mention the Mk3N
have a lower max angle thus making it harder to mis. Also, i believe the Mk3 N weigh far
less AND have equal or greater range.

KGV with 14" can carry 6 binds for the quads and 3 for the dual.

For your engineers, try to convert at least until they have 40-50 vets on them.
30 vets is almost for free, you might have 1 or 2 fails, 40-50 might bring a few more
fails, but you gain more then you loose. 1 vet is worth 4 experts afterall.
If there's a vet conversion event going on 50 vets are almost free btw, keep going
till 100 vets then and see how far your experts will bring you.

Now my only question is, My engies are from i believe 59-i think 65 (Thats what a CV
is for!) and im wondering if i could hopefully have a decent speed in her. they have
quite a few experts, but i don't have the money, or time to ask, purchase, and try my
luck for vets ( Cause i have terIble luck period ) so yes. I'm atleast hoping for 40knts.

Or are my hopes too high? :P cause i get 23-36 or 38 with .2 belt, and a
considerable amount of bulge to get the job done, on my QE, and i get 26 or 25
(sorry for the guessing numbers, havn't logged on ina bout a week) to 37knts OH i
know for a fact.

and im still curious on how many binds the KGV can carry.

Nagato == US Mk 6 L
(Best guess from looking around. This isn't from formal testing.)

naa, UKMk3N are slightly outranged by USMk3L which are equal to the Hood's UKMk3L. USMk3L
are nearly equal to Mk6L... there is a VERY SLIGHT bit of range advantage on the Mk6 which
is only due to spread from my tests. Mk6L is nearly equal to Just slightly ranged by the
KM15" guns. And the KM11" guns outrange them all by a mile. :)

Nagato... I dunno. Who really uses that ship anyway? :)

Is it my imagination, or do the UK Mark III N have equal or slightly better range than the
US Mark 6 L (and much better spread)? o_O
