You have the next traits:
- Speed
- Armor
- Gunpower
- Range
- Small size and small hitbox
- Speedy repair

Start your engines and go around killing everyone.

If you had a H44 you would have commited suicide by now, given that your only
advantage would have been AA.

US and IJN 45 degree guns will make you cry. When they do hit though the result is quite
amazing.

but once you get the hang of it the L2 is much better

As HeroEV said, L2 is probably the most flexible of all the BB5s. The transition from Van
to L2 might be a bit tough at first, but it'll be much more familiar after some number of
games, depending on how fast you improve.

As there are far too many ways to play L2, and many of them are correct, I will try to
suggest tips that will ease you into L2 and 40 degree guns.

0. Make sure you're using the right guns (lvl100).

1. When you first start, as been said, make your guidelines just long enough for the
shells to either land right within the edge of the guidelines or outside them, whichever
gives you a more comfortable feeling.

2. Try to go a few rounds in missions where you can test fire to see your range and how
long it will take.

3. When you're in your first few battles, try to get into line battle positioning and
fire. Get a feel for how long it takes for your shells to land, and where on the ship
they landed as compared to where you aimed for them to land. For example, you aimed for
the shells to land in the middle of the ship, but when the shells actually hit, they hit
on the rear. That's the shell hang time you'll have to get used to so you can prepare.

4. Know your angles. As a BB5, you want to stay outside the range of as many ships as
possible while hitting as many ships as possible. In short, know your angles between
30-40 very well. Then, know angles between 1-10 well also. Knowing these angles will let
you deal with BBs as well as the close combat ships such as SS, DD, and some CL. Once
you're familiar with these, know the remaining angles.

5. Get used to where shells will land when you run in or run out.

6. Enjoy L2 and find what play style fits you. The two most adapted styles are 39 knot 3
gun L2 and 35 knot 2 gun armored L2. Both have their benefits and detriments. I would
suggest using 39 knot 3 gun L2 setup from levels 103-115. From then on, you can go 2 gun
armorwhore. There are a few reasons for this. 1, your gunners will not have spread tight
enough to use 2 gun L2 effectively until levels 115+. 2, because your spread will suffer,
you'll be getting low damage, so you won't be rewarded as much XP. 3, AW L2 setup can
cause a player to play lazy, and therefore stupid; don't be that player.

However, later on, using 2 gun aw or 3 gun sw L2 will work either way. Personally, I use
2 gun aw L2 out of convenience and because it's fun to play something different after the
previous 17 levels.

First tips:

-Dont use 3 guns AND armor. That is beyond dumb. Either 3 guns and 39 knots or 2 guns AW
at 35knts. Most people(including me) prefer 3 gunned for various reasons, one of them
being that most BB5/6s have great armor penetration, which renders your armor pretty
useless if you can't manage to get more inside their range.
- Use the level 100 guns. The 110s weight a lot more, and last time I checked, they also
reload slower and carry less ammo, while the only advantage they proportion is slightly
increased firepower.

Start by playing somewhat defensively. That doesn't mean just sail in a straight line and
run when the enemy threatens to rush you(That is incredibly noobish in my eyes), as you
accomplish nothing while giving up ground. The key is to just wait until you can isolate
an enemy for you to rush him, as that gives you a pretty darn good chance to kill him in a
1v1. If you feel you don't know your angles yet, a simple rush-in rush-out works. As your
crew and ability with the ship progresses, play more and more agressively.

id say L2 is good.

mine can take some full salvos of other bb5 and survive (need lots of repair then)
its firepower is good as i like to go with 3 main guns, which for me made aiming
easyer. and after that id say learn to aim with only 2 guns if you want.

So the L2 is a very powerfull ship.
14 Sailor Slots
Second best damage output BB5
Good stability,
this are facts you have to use, trust me, i learned to play it on the grind to 120,
who is, thank god, over^^

So trust your Ship, your Skill, you must know what your Ship can do.
Its not a KM Ship, your will not sink after one hit, ok monty or amagi maybe^^,
but your not a paper ship, with a good crew, lvl 105+ you can be the
king of the Ring. I have 6 Engys 4 Reps, but 7 Engys 3 Rels work very good too.

So my tipps are,

Know your Angles, you must know them Blind,
every shot that misses, are seconds you can be shot.
Have 4 Eyes, look your enemy on Alpha/Bravo befor the Battle starts
look the moves of other enemys in the middle, ore South/west when you are in
a safe position and have the time, so there are not surprises
with shells from the middle or somewhere else.

dont drive gradual, change your direction, when you play it a little bit km style
you have the best chances for high attack.
I think my record in Great Battle is 370k attack

I played KM to BB6 befor UK
i learned much from km, so uk where very cool to drive

So have fun^^

ok first are you playing AW or SW . if your armoured well yes your an easy target for
anyone that arealizes your sped. as your crew level the lion 2 becomes faster and more
forgiving . how many engies are you running . their is alot of info that your not giving
that could help you out . any new ship is hard to get used to . the vanny is a beast of a
ship and apart from weak guns probably my facourite ship in game . play the l2 for a while
and learn to use your strengths
