Many players still use AA...... only unskilled BB players don't use them, or they prefer
using extra Repairs.

And about good AA ships, you got Emden/Moltke in KM, but for USN, Atlanta?
REALLY? omfg..... it's nearly impossible to correctly AA with Atlanta, not enough
turning angles for your guns.

you can also stay near to a friendly ship to get a better cover, the machineguns will
destroy almost every airplane that is trying to attack (like dive bombers and
sometimes torps) the AA guns can be used to torps in attack phase, always aiming
their shadow, and you can survive.

Im currently using Jap ships. I dont currently have any aa gunners. Can someone suggest me
few tips on how i can get decent aa guns and what lvl my aa gunners need to be to get good
