My level 118 Restore gives me 402 SD on my CV and Amagi (Yes I use him on my Amagi)

Restore is fine, and I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

The SD on the US servers has always had some sort of cap. There was the one
issue during beta when SDE/TNF thought it was doing everyone a favor by lowering
the SD to only 300 (30% of DP).

What followed was a massive protest by players as suddenly the game for BB play
meant soon as you got hit, you were dead. SDE/TNF then reverted back to the 900
sd cap in less than a week.

Yes, I have a restorer, in yellow. :)

I think everyone has a useless restorer, guess yellow, on his account.
From what I have heard, was SD not capped some time ago, on a CV I would prefer
a Repair sailor.

Someone should go on kr server using uk with 11 restores

Restorers really are not necessary on the US servers because of the capped SD and
the added ability of boosts.

If you spend the proper time when rolling your crew to include repairers/engs with
+12 in their base, but also a +10 or 11 in restore, then you find you can hit the 900
SD cap with fewer and fewer sailors. This is especially true with engineers as they
contribute more to your SD total than repairers.

I'm at the point now with just 3 of my IJN engs, I'm just about at the 900 sd cap. So
once I put on the BO and some gunners, i'm over 900.

I wouldnt say no one. Thats like saying Ledan didnt have to use my fighters in his T slots
for a day or 2 while the rest of his crew leveled. With the requirements for CV/BB6
sometimes you must use what you have to get the ship out of the dock. :P

In BB line for IJN, restorers have no use because you will hit the 900sd cap with roughly
a level 80 bve support crew. When rolling BO, Engies and Reps pay attention to the
Restore value as this is important.

I guarantee that noone has ever used a Restore on an Amagi. I would imagine the
level 115+ crew of engies and reps and BO will be WAY over 900sd. I am at 900sd in
my Fuso.

That is interesting use of Restore in Kitas and subs.

I guess you never played CV? If you did you would know that loading up your support slots
with pilots will give you next to no SD meaning 9 DBs will end your game fairly quickly.
