just got my Simakaze and heres my problem.

iijn torpers are 2x level 34

my torp launchers are the x3 24" Type 93 M1
and my torps are the 24" Type 93 M1-2-torpedo

usually when im on my fubu with the type 90's, at the start of the game the torps reload
are fast like its already ready at the start.

but when im on my sima after i do the 5 and outs the reload of my torps are still on the
halfway mark till ready.

I've seen other threads where people have said it depends if your torps were loading in
the previous game before it ended etc but after playing thousands of games with torp
ships, the counter does begin when you enter the room. If you want to have your torps
loaded, don't enter a near full room.

"The reload counters on torpedo launchers start right when you enter the room, and your
launchers won't be ready until then. So if you join a room and it immediately splits, then
the time left over is what you'll spend readying your launchers at the start of a battle.
To fix this, just join a room a bit earlier so that you're in it for at least a minute or
so before the battle actually starts.

Besides that, it should take you at least 30 seconds to reach the torp-dropping line
anyways, so it doesn't really hurt. "

Mmmm..... that explains alot of things....
