Hey all being my first post here, I would like to say I have played NFEU for a while
though I am American, and was glad to finnally download and get on the US servers.
The people here, though vulgar and spammers, are very friendly and helpful and I
appreciate the oppertunity to get sunk be you all.

The problem I am running into is this: I am leveling a Jap sub crew (as I adore
torpedoes and submarines) and need a ship between the Fuboki and the Simakazi. I am
currently using the Fubo to great success but soon my crew will be too high to get
sufficient experiance from it. Both of my options are great ships, and I used the
Yubari on the EU servers and liked it a lot. My perfered role is run and gun Tw in
BK mode, and AA/ASW in GB/GB2 mode. Both of these ships will do both jobs admirably,
but the DD will work better as a run and gun, and the CL as a support ship.

What is your experiance and oppinions? I have read every thread I could come up
with and not much help as everyone seems to avoid both of these ships.

Just a thought but if your grinding as they say then the XP will be better in a CL than a
DD. Level requirements for the Yubari are low so you won't take a hit on the XP but gain.
Just my 2 cents.

I would suggest the Yubari. It is not as bad as some people claim it to be. Sure, it is an
IJN CL so one should not expect a killer beast. It has been some time since I was in my
Tatsuda, but I know that I hated it from the bottom of my heart. I do not have so negative
memories of the Tatsuda. If you can have the Tatsuda then you are maximum seven levels
away from Simakaze, so it is not a horrible grind even on these little boats. If you are
low on credits, the Yubari is also cheaper by 1.000 credits.

Good luck as a member of the Imperial Japanese Navy, make us proud. Banzai!

I enjoyed the tatsuda for ASW and AA, but it's AA is not as good as the mogami line
DDs, and it's ASW isn't as good as the sima and fubuki.
