I has reached to Nagato lvl but I think that PBB is still giving me more XP even with
same attack points!

Also PBB has 7 support so I will not leave one support with no grinding

The range is the same
The gunners of Nagato has better damage / shell
Range is almost the same if u use L guns for Nagato

So which one is better .. for me I chose B65 (PBB) to grind to Yamoto and not Nagato

For both with at lvl support and gunners
B65= Fail( Why? BB5s and BB4s will Take ya down)
Nagato Or BB3 = ok
Nagato is actually fun. I know that u can only 8 shells like h39, h44 O Project and
Bismark. But u actually got more damage on ya per shell. You might as well go
Nagato. The T slot sucks but gives you a better AA slot with you hit Yammy. Spread
is better, and I mean WAY better. I had at lvl gunners and my spread made my grind
go bad and drove me crazy. 1 more thing Always Use the Ship with your b.o with the
highest lvl. FYI Nagato was fun

B65 spread tighten up? That's news to me. I think the spread is still rather ugly...like
an at level Dunkerque.

In my mind the PBB spread with accuracy capped gunners goes like this:

KM > US > UK = IJN

Actually, nagato at lower level used to be fail. I dont know with the slight accuracy buff
it supposed to have gotten from the BB34AA patch, but it used to have such a fail spread
at level. I stored my naggy till lvl 90 of my gunners (they were ahead of the BO) because
I was pissed at it when I missed a L2 at max range due to my shell falling everywhere
around it, safe on its deck.

I used the fuso for most of the grind, actually being one of the few who prefered keeping
the 14" the 16D in my mind weren't worth the spread and range trade-off for raw firepower.
often the spread didnt allow me to take full advantage of it anyway, also makes you lose a
knot on your base speed.

If you never played the IJN line before tough, I heavily suggest you make a few games with
the AA in B65 before hitting the yammy, if merely to get used to the totally different
playstyle the BB4 will require comapred to the fuso. Better be a failure at it in a PBB
than in a BB4, as you'll scrap the team balance lot more in the later being a noob at the
playstyle.

At higher level, I found the B65 to be fun to play, as the spread tighten up, and its
speed is quite nice with a decent turnrate and range. but we are talking near SY level,
sadly. But ive done some nice 150k+ game with it, and one or two 200k+. Says something
giving how little I played the ship at that level.

Use fuso with 16"D and swap for B65 sometimes.

with fuso you can level whole bb5 support crew and with b65 you can also put some exp on
aa gunners.

Sadly Nagato is bad in current enviroment.
You are still outranged by most BBs, you have limited damage (compared to Fuso) and you
are much fatter target.

Just IMHO but what ONF did to IJN PBB and BB3 is laughtable.

One thing to keep in mind is the boosted XP for hitting higher lvl ships than you are. The
Nagato is at lvl 77 and the B65 at lvl 63. If you can land a hit on a BB4-5 you get up to
20% extra XP for landing it with a B65 as opposed to at lvl or just 10% extra for the hits
with a Nagato. I'm not sure if this is still in effect at this time but if it is this
would explain the higher XP for the B65 since you get it at a lower lvl.

I agree with Goeland for the most part.

The Naggy is a great bb3, but it is not very fun, so I like many other people did the
Yammy grind in Fuso16".

Fuso needs lots of SD to give it survivability but I was running with 3engies/3reps all
bve and got 900 sd when around level 80.

The key to 16" Fuso is that every once in awhile, you will sneak in around the flank
and find the other teams CV's and BB's blind and you will wipe the board with your
12 sixteen inch bullets. 12 Sixteen inch bullets in a bb2? You take out a couple of
pcv and a bb4 or 5 and numerous other small boats and you get a whopper of xp.
And it is so much fun. Which makes the grind easier.

B65 is a lot of work and you attract a lot of attention and your armament sailors
really should ideally not have levelled to DP gunners by level.

@ArabFighter - An unclassed armament sailor gets a 50% xp boost versus other
sailors, thus it levels at a much faster rate than your support crew so your dp
gunners will be on par by the time you get to Amagi.

I ended up with the Fuso on my way to Yamato, a 16 inch Fuso can decide a game,
B65 is the worst PBB out there.
Nagato is an ok BB3, but not much more range than B65 which has awesome AA
Ability, so I would go B65 with 1 more support slot.

Thank you all for comments .. but I don't approve the speed issue .. my B65 is faster
when using same supports in both

The spread is ok since I have lvl 81 gunners that are BVE

but what u said about Nagato and switching the DP gunners to use 7 supports is not
rational since u will have a difference between DP gunners and other R slots crew
and this will delay your BB6! i think
