Ok, I want to go the CV line. Right now I have a lvl 27 US BO. According to the CV guide
here I'll need at least 4 lvl 40 fighters before I buy a CV, but what else should I be
looking into in terms of support and bomber pilots?

Any recommendations would be great.

My recommedation is what I run, however, if you dont want to use the seaman
substitute with other supports or AA
CV6 - 6 FP. 2 DB or TB, 1 Medic, 2 Seaman(yes they stack)

6ftr+6DB/TB is good for any situation.

If you want to kill BB4-5s, need 4 bomber pilots at least.

And it is the fact that few people can use over 5 ftr pilots effectively.

If you're having troubles with enemy CVs fighter-camping your CV, try using locals.
Partially useless is much, much better than utterly useless.

With locals, don't play like you're using a very-short-ranged Carrier; play like you're
using a very-long-ranged AA boat. Stay a couple inches behind the main line, intercept
anything that comes into your perimeter, and keep loading up more flights.

i agree with happymeal2 because i did the same format as him but the only problem is only:

- as a bogue if u try to put all fighter = u doomed because lower level ftr is the same
like having no ftr at all, the enemy will eat ur ftr so better forget about it but still
keep them in the slot for them to leveling and use TB to generate the attack

- as Yorktown is just oke to start using ur fighter but still ur enemy higher level
fighter can eat ur fighter but hey look now ur ftr can help ur TB/DB to open their
way(sometimes the enemy already put their fighter first so if u go with ur TB/DB = dead
meat so you can use ur ftr to start dogfight to open the way but be quick oke because ur
ftr is not strong enough)

- CV 5 or 6 well the reason i play US is only one.. US good at fighter i mean when ur
enemy start to use their DB/TB to nuke ur ship the role play of ur ftr can help your ship
out of the trouble. plus the bonus, you can make them loosing their planes <3

preparation is easy
- 6 ftr + 2 DB or 2 TB or
- 5 ftr + 2DB/2TB + 1TB/1DB or
- 4 ftr + 2DB + 2 TB <--- i don't like these format because only IJIN and UK can work with
these format

ok, ignore what the people who say 8 fp are telling you. as a cv1 youre gonna start
with 5 supports, i used 3 fighters and 2 tbs but you could also go 4 fighters and 1
tb. cv2 bumps you up to 6 supports, which i have 4 fighters and 2 tbs. cv3 has same
but has 2 gunner slots (put more pilots on here!!!!) and ya... next cv4 gives you
another support, so this is where earlier decisions will come in: either 6 fighters and
2 bombers, 5 fighters and 3 bombers, or for the fighter whore, 7 fighters and 1
bomber. 7 fighter 1 bomber generally isnt that helpful because if your team begins
to lose, not a thing you can do about it. as for setups, 3x3x3 is good for cv4+, cv3
will be 4x4 and cv2 will be 4x3. cv1 is 3x3.

basically what pilots you use depends on what you want to play. on the midway
(cvs) you get 9 supports but only 8 can hold working pilots.

Well first you need 4 fp and 2 or 3 bombers and have some restors, and rep for enra
help to live longer in the game.

::5 fighterpilots is crap: how do you wanna play that:
3x3x3 and then 5/4?::

Personally, at CV4, I launched 1,1 to kill scouts, then 3,3,3, then 5,4, then 3,3,3, putting
in bomber flights as and when needed. If I was up against lower-lvl fighters, or I sunk
the opposing CV, I didn't always *need* to load all the fighters that the CV possibly
could do.

Don't know about you, but since CV4 lvl, it's been a rare occasion where I'd lose all the
fighters from a previous flight before my next one was loaded when it was split over at
least 2 pilots, regardless of the size of flights...

at least 6 fighter! -> in fleetwars you drive cv4. cv4 can start 9 planes at same time. so
you can start 3x3 and 3x3.

optimum is 8 fighter piltos.

5 fighterpilots is crap: how do you wanna play that:
3x3x3 and then 5/4?
-> use 4 or 6.

i suggest therefore:

- 6 fighterpilots
- 2-4 TBs (not DBs for US -> less damage) 3 for 3x3x3 on cv4/5 e.g.
- 1-2 Seaman (high fighter base)
- 1Medic

If you start new you can aim:
- 4 fighter
- 2 TB
- 1 Seaman
- 1 Medic

ON CV2/3 you can start 4x4 and 4x4 and then the bomber 4x4. :)

good luck and have fun.
