My yammy

went 40 knots in overheat. but i had hi gh levle engis

but now that i have 115+ engis it hits 39 knts in OH sooo yea. dont worrie its a
great ship hits really hard.

my super yammay at level went 42knts plus i dont run thatmuch bulge bc i want
speed..........

This was pre-BB34AA when I first got my yamato. Don't complain.

I ran my Yammy and the SY with 5 +12 bve engies and a little buldge no other armor is
needed do to ijn armor is paper and i get 37-40knts

with 3 bve level 89 engies my Yammy does 24/36

If you have 4 lvl 90 Elite BVE engineers, then you might actually get some good
speed out of it at first, but level up your engineers quite a bit, don't run deck armor
either as most ppl know IJN deck armor sucks.

i go 23/35 with 3 engies. Yea, pretty bad but i need to lvl 3 reps. I have AA so that
might be a good thing though.

i'm still strugling with my setup. I cant descide between 5engy/3rep or a 4/4 setup. i
think i'm gonna go 5/3 in contrast to my km where i got 4/4. You can say what u want, but
at least KM reps work a bit when u get enough vets. IJN rep rate is just horrid. so i
descided to "not get hit" instead of repping it :P

for the ijn BB's ya really need 5 engies tbh not 4, hell some people even go 6 ( i
prefer the 6 tbh )

lol, be happy they upped the OH ratio. I used to go 37 with !!!!!5!!!!! lvl 90 engies with
180 vets, base 12. Was one of the few Yammy that managed to hit 40 knot in my time.

Now 40 knot yammy are common occurance lol.
