The Akitsuki-Kai used to be my favorite DD back in beta before the introduction of the
newer DDs. It a good ship but how fast you level now a days, the credits would just go to
waste as your in a new ship in no time.

One thing to add. I recently learned that ship FCS space is what determines base
sonar range.

The Aki-Kai happens to have the largest fcs space of any IJN DD. So if you no have
sonar sailor and don't want to get jumped in your BB by a stupid SS4, take an Aki-Kai
as escort.

If you have a sonar sailor and you want the MAX sonar towed array capability, the
Yubari has the biggest fcs of any CL in any navy (equal to Dhonburi and Kitakami). So it
makes a great towed array sonar escort. It is long and it will cross you a lot in battle.

i took tsukikei because i'm noob at torping... and always get sunk before able to launch...
but yubari isn't bad either =p

2 level at that point of the game is 3-4 game..even blizt ones.

Dont bother unless you have enough creds not to care bout the remod fee (like not your
first line)

Personnaly, I always choose the ship with the most support slot at that level, regardless
of performance. I mean you get shared xp anyway. If a ship can mount AA tough, it become
really interesting. Too bad IJN AA gets only classed above 60 cuz of crap DP gunner growth
eh? So yah. I say yubari for the better support.

Just play for a hour and you will be leveled past it.

IMO , Akitsuki-Kai is a better ship then pre-remodel , but you can just save your
credit for Yubari or Tukikei .

i believe the best way to make any worth comparisons would be between yubari vs agano, and
not yubari vs tsukikei. Thought i must say a yubari gameplay resembles more of a DD than
of a CL.

hell, i dont even know what to say about yubari. the only times i used it was as a DD
+playstyle, even thought it should be used as a CL. But anyway, if making any comparison
with tsukikei, i preffer the last one, since it carries one more gun. only advantages from
yubari that i am aware of is being able to carry torps (that works both sides, only CL
able to do so..... right?) and the scout, AND possibly more resistance to shells.

If we're gonna compare it with agano for a CL gameplay, i'd maybe go for the yubari,
since it..... well...... DAMN, i believe agano is a jinxed ship in this game X_x i cant
find what is the problem of agano for it to suck like that

The Yubari isn't the best kept secret in NF. That would go to either High Angle fire, or
how to setup the Cleveland. =/

edit: Sintri: But the Yubari is better than the Akitsuki! (And enjoys situational
advantages over the Tsukikei)

Sad these days when people haven't even been in an Akitsuki-Kai. It used to be the
best dd, asides from the pre-nerfed Q. That being said, main key is really used to.
It's still more or less the same ship it used to, but the Tsukikei does sport quite a bit
more power. The Yubari still sucks.
