go for Tbs they are epic with a wave of 9 im sure u can break anyships bulge and they wont
survive the next wave, so far most attack of 1 wave of 9 tbs iv got is 66k hit 2 ships
into the red

one thing, 10 DB's can one shot a bb5 always ( dukeboy told me so i thrust him
and he hase an arromaches or wathever it is called )

I'd do both id have 2 db's 2 tb's and 4 fghtrs

I have both tb and db I love the db. the torpers however while awsome do have
some limits. the torps hit very hard but i think they are slower than IJN torps that i
use on my ryojo. Also the torp bombers seem very very fragile they rarely survive
runs on ships but they do get the torps off. the tier ones seem pretty sacrificial. but
as i said before if you can hit with them they are devastating. i will always use
french torp planes but will rely more on dive bombers

theres probobly 1000 threads asking the same thing, but really there is no better one, and whatever
desision you make your probobly gonna wish you did the opposite.

DB's:
pro: can pilot airlift planes if your fleet does HA, and are better for attacking BB's. also are easier to use
cons: cant attack subs, its near imposible to use manual bombing, and the odds of hitting something
other than a BB or a CV are 1 in 100. they also have less sight range, and are usually easier to shoot
down with AA

TB's:
pro: if they dont have any buldge (for whatever reason) they will generally do more damage. you can
attack all ship types with them, and when you get good at it manual bombing is really effective. they also
have more sight range, and when AA immune they tend to get shot down less
cons: since most ships buldge whore now you probobly wont get muuch attack unless a sub just
attacked or you have alot of bomber hitting him. TB's tend to be easier to dodge

Yeah I torped a red L2 and it did just nothing to him, I wished I had DB loaded.
Not an easy decission.

my only thought is why not go both. i plan on a 2/5 setup, 2 fighters and 5 bombers, i was
initially going to do 2 tb and 3 db, even though i split my storage space, tbs are useful
with multiple purposes, but db's don't get chewed up by aaw the same, so they are both
useful. thoughts and recommendations appreciated.

Dbs are better at earlier levels because AAW immunity doesn't matter much.

Later tbs become better in my opinion because they become much easier to use with aaw
immunity or partial immunity and overall do much more damage.

Overall Tbs do quite a bit more than Dbs, making it easier to finish off BBs in one run.
With dbs it takes a couple of waves to take out an undamaged bb 4/5/6 because of the high
SD / good repair rate. With tbs you can cripple or take out BBs in just one wave if they
are out of bulge.

^^^ But, BB's carry a decent amount of deck and high SD, so low lvl DB's will have
less of an effect. It brings a "choose your target wisely" scenario. TB's have similar
damage across the board, and can help break bulge for SS.
