Umm, guys, unless I'm mistaken, the way they're making those sprites is the following:
1. Make a 3D model of the gun in a modelling program (3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Blender, etc) 2. Texture the 3D model. 3. Define camera positions according to desired sprite images (defining the rotation of the guns and of the turrets). This can be done using paths with very VERY minor tweaking. 4. Render a batch of images. 5. Incorporate the images in a sprite file.
SO! To resize the guns, all you need to do is steps #4 and 5. Which is pretty damned simple, trust me. Change the resolution settings from "40x50" to "90x110" and restart the batch process.
The question is whether we can get the people who made the models to re-render them with a bigger image. Hell I'd do it if someone sent me the models for the guns. I know how to, just don't have the time to spend modeling the guns from scratch.
So, TNF/SDE, if you want bigger sprites, get in touch with me. I'll be happy to help.
