I gave up. Impatience is my curse. I got rid of all IJN, but my torpers. Plenty of speed
there. Just need to dump and run. I have my RN and US for the rest.

What ships are you using, with what engines, and how much armor?

i think i know ur problem.... did u actually just got ur Mogami CL, and added the CL
engine?? yes, the ship will become slow as hell, u need good engineer guys for it to go
faster....

How to solve ur problem: add a CA engine, the one that gives best SHP

The rule of thumb is to always use the engine with either (1) the highest SHP, or (2) a
similar one with slightly less SHP that has a much larger overheat ratio. Just make sure
you're not trying to put a BB engine on your DD or something.

What speed is slow? If you just got out of DD and think CL is slow, that can't be helped.
The higher the ship's level gets, the more likely it is to be slower (there are a few
exceptions).

If you've been a CL user for some time and still think its slow, then check what engine
you're using.
