exp gain due trop damage vs gun damage

f444ran	i have been playing NF about a month as ijn. my obsevation in kuma kai i seen to get less exp while dealing damage with trops.once i sunk 2 dd and a cl and damage couple of other ships but my exp was around 1000 for bo(highest) and 700-900 for others.i got sunk pretty fast though(TW arent supposed to have long life i heard!) so my question 1)is exp calculated from amount of time spent in battle or damage done? 2)if it is based on damage caused does it differ if i dealt damage with gun or trops? P.S: I know for lot u it appears as silly question but pls do enlighten me. and its my sincere request to NF to increase exp gain for sub hunting.chased a ss4 halfway through map sunk him got just 1000 exp.(well i wont say that i was immediately sunk by a ss2 hanging with him )

JoeBlue	The Kuma-Kai really isn't worth it. Sure it can launch more torps, but the amount you can carry isn't very high, and with those two extra mounts you lose speed. What I ended up doing was taking off the two front Torp mounts and running the Kuma-Kai like that. It was fast enough to dodge shells, and still carried enough punch to do some serious damage.

soulseeker4	Why not use Kuma-Kai ? It has more torpedo launcher. I get like 5k for those sailors of board. I get 8k++ on Kitakami without any premium. It's all about Engy and torpedo man that you got and way you playing it. I suppose you should press F4 before battle and adjust it to gradual shooting and fire it one by one instead of firing all at the same time. It'll get less spread like this. Also use the highest damage torpedo on your Kuma. If you were going for torpedo on Kuma don't load guns on Kuma cause guns will only slow your speed down. Stick with torpedo and use them as your strength to play on your strategy. Anything else message me or find me in Iowa (a.k.a. Arizona) server. Thank you. Regards, soulseeker4

Why not use Kuma-Kai ? It has more torpedo launcher. I get like 5k for those sailors of
board. I get 8k++ on Kitakami without any premium. It's all about Engy and torpedo man

Kaj1234	1. Dont leave the battle unless you didnt get any XP, (stay until the battle is finished or your team is loosing) 2. As far as i have experienced, i get less XP when damaging stuff with torps than with guns. 3. You get extra XP for killing subs, so use DC (not HH).
