One of the first things many ONF'ers expected were ships that could take a royal pummeling.

We were positively surprised. MN BB's aren't shockingly resistant to any shell fire.

How SDE figured size counter's squishiness when you can buy your way to near-
blockshooting in just about every ship in the game is beyond me.

Oh well. Another SDE catch-22. You're the nation designed to rush, but you're so soft a
target that rushing is impractical.

Yeah, no. Plus subs are way more durable anyway. Now I have actually seen subs take nearly
a full monty salvo at near point blank and survive. Not just SS4's too, SS1/2's.

Myself using the French BB's they seem quite squishy which is a little disappointing
considering they seem to be a rushing BB nation. I guess size was supposed to
counter-balance that.

I never had the feeling that MN BBs are among the thoughest of the game... they are
moderate at best... they sink just as easy as other BBs... maybe even a bit easier...

The French BBs sink just as well as all the other ships. However, they are much smaller
than comparable tier ships, so it is very easy to miss when you think a full salvo landed.

High angle belt shot and damage salvoes are completely nerfed?

Or immunity zone nerfing completely belt/deck shot.

Gtdawg wasn't the first person on the Iowa server to get the BB5. Also, I find the MN
BB's to be weak compared to other nations even with 900 SD.

OPro's the lightest-hitting BB2, next to Scharnhorst.

A full salvo from an OPro/Scharnhorst with 14.96" and the very most you could ever
hope to expect is around 14,400, under perfect conditions, all shell landing with no crits.
Around 2,400 per shell.

Any BB1 in the game would take that with NO SD at all, and still have DP to spare.

Says the first person on the Iowa server with MN BB5, But no i have shot people with my
OPro and they took like no damage. all of them were hit with 5/6 shells.

Most likely because they are small, so you think ti got hit with a ful salvo, but really
only a couple shells hit.
