  • Custom Music, F10 settings, losing winning settings.

Hi, i'm experimenting a little with custom musics.

I made my custom music and used them instead of the standard files .cxf .
the main problem i encountered is the battle theme seems to repeat itself too many
times, instead of playing the winning or losing themes. I was wondering which are the
exact requirements for the win and lose themes to be played, and if it can be somehow
edited. like the losing music to show up earlier even if i got only 25% damage, or the
winning one showing up with (dunnow how) some easier requirements.

also I saw in the F10 settings panel, there are three checkboxes: standard, expand,
and random (for music). what are the effects for expand and random? i quite dont catch
their function as it seems it plays the music as normal, or maybe i didnt find where it
modifies something...

hope to hear some answers ;)

No. If you have a BB you should easily be able to get winning in Test Mission. If you
have an FF you can easily get losing by fictorying.

Expand gives audible alarms for aircraft and torpedo.

Winning Music plays when you do damage equal to your damage bar (if you have 10K total HP,
do 10K damage to get winning music)

Losing Music plays when you get below 30% HP, or some arbitrary amount.

I'm not sure about the music settings (I long ago turned it off and play mp3s instead),
but the expand and random change the in-game sound effects. Among other things, random
makes pilot chatter... odd.
