if you can fit the 2 X 16Ls then i would use those once your gunners get to atleast lvl 76
cause the spread becomes useable and it can really do some damage

mk7s are made for a playstyle that is more aggressive, while 16" mk2 for line fighting.

The mk7s have one major flaw: AP doesnt work well, due to the way teh shell travels, they
hit the deck at an angle that is way to small even at max range. So they bounce. Best way
to deal with those ship is to sneak or dodge your way under 20 degree and explode the belt.

tbh, the 16" have a bit more range and maybe they also hit a tad harder. altough 8x16"
roughly equal 12x14"

the mk7 spread is also pretty random. Even with lvl 120 gunners it had fun goin all over
the place a couple time.

Also neither colo or tenn are really rigged for aggressive playstyle, not like penn43 at
least. The thing speed cap quite easily, giving you early on a nice 44 knot available to
rush a big ship. The thing is also smaller and sturdier.

People are overconfident in their AW boats and let me drive up to them =_=

Yes. But what kind of range would you get by firing the 14" Mk 7's at 10 degrees?

As opposed to, what kind of range would you get by firing the 14" Mk 12's at 15 degrees?

I must disagree with that. Firing Penn guns at 10 degrees at a Nelson who thinks "aww,
adorable BB2 trying to damage me" is HILARIOUS. Especially when you're using HHE.
Overwhelms their SD and disables their power cores.

Only the 14" mk12's are lasers. 15 degree max angle. What is this "deck armor" thing of
which you speak?

14s are laser cannons. 16s are railguns. Discuss?

And the armor penetration.

But don't forget, that you shoot 12 shells instead of 8 with the 14"s... so the difference
with ammo is not so big... and the 16"s have a much better spread.
Anyway both guns are close so not much of a difference... its very much slow high angle
versus fast low angle making the 14"s better for rushing and 16"s for running...
