I've been playing my royal navy since I started playing nf. It was a bad move for me to
upgrade my gunner without consulting this forum. I've upgraded my gunner into accuracy but
as I've read in the guide... royal navy is much effective with reload bur I already choose
accuracy, this really makes me depressed. After playing so many nights with sweet and
blood only find to find out that I choose the wrong one.

Now My Question.
1. Does royal navy gunner really bad to be on accuracy?
2. Is there anyway I can avert this aggravating situation?

Please help me. Thank you.

This is RN, once you choose reload or accuracy that is it.

If you have 12/10 Acc gunners with 119 vets at level 120 you will NOT hit the reload cap.
You will have hit the Accuracy cap in the mid 60's

If you class elite 11/13 gunners Accuracy and BVE them you will hit the reload cap at
around L2 level.

Going Reload with 13/11 means you will still be waiting for the Acc cap in the high 70's,
but will already be at the reload cap. But with RN, you will struggle without the Accuracy
being as good as possible more than the reload. With all RN guns (8" trips and 14" quads
excepted) there is poor spread even with Acc capped gunners until you get to over lvl 100.

So if you do not spam shells, but aim carefully, Acc is fine. Never expect RN to be
forgiving to a miss shot, as the enemy will have another set of shells in the air having
corrected for distance errors before you will.

If you want the best post level 100 gunners though, choose 11/13 elites as Acc gunners or
13/11 classed as Reload.

If you don't mind not hitting the new reload cap ever unless you got more than 109
vets and good base reload (11+), then yes Acc gunners are fine.

If you don't mind a (slightly) worse spread till the mid 70's, then reload gunners are
the way to go.

Since I first started NavyField.. I have classed all my ACC Gunner Sailors ACC all the way
as soon they hit the level..

I have own Blitz with my blockshot 6" on my furious 90% of the time =D, you can ask
EricCartman =P..

The reload can be a drag but if you can land all your shell and know where they will land
and not scatter, you'll have a more enjoyable time kicking ass rather than hoping the
shell will land then rejoice when only one shell hits before you get killed by a blockshot
UK York.

Also, I don't and highly prefer not to do AA on BB.. But from time to time.. I use them on
my Emerald. It's fun and a good way to earn extra credit. I still use my RLD gunner but
never on my BB though since I prefer using the extra slot for Engine or Repair sailor =D.

"Generally it is considered a good idea to level reload gunners as well as accuracy gunners
for use for AA on your BB"

what he said. Its smart to have both types of gunners in UK for a variety of reasons,,,
not just the above.

You're not meant to use AA guns on a UK BB.

Nothing wrong with acc gunners, I have them myself and I specifically wanted acc
gunners, even though everyone said go reload.

you are fine with accuracy gunner, i actually prefer accuracy gunner over reload gunner
because i can actually aim and shoot rather than relying on a bad spread to do some damage.

Generally it is considered a good idea to level reload gunners as well as accuracy gunners
for use for AA on your BB. The UK AA gunners are normally only used for the 8 x 2lber pom
poms. They sound great but that's about it. So have both - you know it makes sense.

First off: calm down. You're fine.

To quell your anxiety and frustration, I can tell you that for quite a while, people
believed that going ACC was the better choice. Historically, prior to SDE capping
gunners, ACC and RLD each had its strong suit. Now, they each still have their strong suit.

1. There is nothing wrong with going RN ACC gunners. RN ACC gunners will hit the ACC cap
early, meaning that you can have an easier time hitting things at low levels. The only
downside is that you will hit the reload cap roughly 30 levels later than people who go
RLD gunners. However, the difference is not so substantial that you should lose sleep
over it. Besides, playing RN really comes down to being a good shot. If you can't hit
anything, what good is better reload or better accuracy?

2. You can avert this situation either by trading away your sailors, level a new pair of
RLD sailors, or just keep using the gunners you have now. Nothing wrong with that.

For RN, you basically have to rely on two things:

1. Skill: good aim, know when to rush/run, etc.

2. Supports: insane repair rate and OH time can overcome the reload delay you get from
using ACC gunners.
