  • New idea for premium subscription

Currently, the Premium only works for 30 days, regardless of you logging on, waiting time etc.

I propose Premium be changed into credits. In which, say you buy 30 hours of premium instead of 30
days pass. This is so that players who do not wish to spend that much may still play premium.

Another suggestion is that the, say 30 hours of premium you purchased only considers when you are
in battle (not missions or any other battles outside Area 7), so that you can take your time to play. I
don't buy premium because I know that I have to play hardcore so that my 10$ doesn't go to waste.
Also, since 60% of the time you are NF is actually waiting for balance, only 40% in reality contributes
towards your extra premium gain.

So to summarize:
- Have a "credits" system
- Only count the time inside battles

I think they should change it so you have different types of premium subscription for each
ship class

Well, I do like the idea of only paying for the time that I'm actually.. you know.. playing
the game.
I like the comparison to prepaid. The larger chunks you buy it in, the better deal you
get.
Actions where a bonus is given, like rolling vets, could optionally use up credits for an
improved rate, perhaps?

My fear is that people will be MUCH more impatient and in a rush to make the most of
their time.

yeah the idea needs some tweeking. but its a start.

I'm more 50/50 on this...

I feel it would just be better to keep the prem how it is, BUT have it save premium
days that you dont use....

Like if you dont log on at all one day, it doesnt use a day, and if you do play, it uses
a day.

But yet again, if it did that, people wouldnt want to play unless they could be on for
more than a few hours... DUE to that (lack of a better word) pressure to not use a
prem day.

I know if it was like that... I wouldnt log on UNLESS I could go a full day of playing.
With how it is now, there is no pressure to use those prem days like there would be
if there where "credits" like suggested.

Honestly, if i had 30 hrs in game of prem, id be through it in about 4 days :/ Im not
saying its a bad idea, but i think it needs some tweaking first. Maybe each credit
buys a day or something of prem, no exceptions, just flat-out normal prem and you
could get like 30 credits for 10$ as a special deal but could still get like 3 credits for a
dollar if you so choose?

Premium also does work when your in the dock gambling for vets. The idea sounds nice but I
prefer what we have now since people who play hardcore would burn through the 30 hours in
a week and that would cause people having to spending 50 bucks a month for what their
paying for 10 dollars now.

The best way to relate to is the idea of prepaid cell phone.

And I am only talking about premium subscription, and not items.

So by credits, do you mean credits used to buy ships and guns etc. or special credits
just for premium items, like microsoft's MS point system?
