I think you should see "Waves Possible?" post ...do a search. Remember this isn't a 3d game. Its just not the game to have a lot of detail.

yea but just to make things more intresting and a little detail in these maps doesnt have to be whales but little things do make a difference in looks especially since all these maps are so plain, i mean come on the water doesnt even look like water its mre like ships slinding around the ground, only way u can tell its water is the waves on the sides of the boats and the splashes from shells

this would work but the game would probably need a whole new engine for the game, the water is the same as was in the original commandos games which were not that detailed. the game is not about whether you can see the whales about or whether there are waves its about shooting the other ships before they shoot you.
