Speaking of AW, I got a Furious put only RP10s on the T slots, put on my BB reps and
engies on and went and killed everyone in blitz with 16'' belt. Death by Gradual Fire & NF
Fixer it shall be!

And you cant AW a nelly while retaining it's heavy firepower. Unless you go for the POW
setup of the 14'' trips (only use the N to retain the blockshot ability), because its more
firepower than the 15'' duals.

Well thefaller, youre right about that, but actually its going very nice for me right
now!
I cant SW my nelly since i only have 3 UK engies, and no one on this server seems to
be selling level 65-90 engies for a reaseneble price... lol.
xD

To above: AHAHAHAHA! LMAO! Yah i suck at angles xD

My setup: 2 Quad D with good spread
9" of armor!
And 21/33 speed... -.-
Anyway i am doing quite well aginst noob BB's who dont have AP/dont use it...

Or:
2 Quad N (No letter) and 8.6" of armor!

I was in GB2 earlier on Bismarck in a Bismarck.
I saw a Nelson with a name i recognized.
Fired one salvo of HE, then 2 salvos of AP and Nelson dead.

Granted, it landed 1 salvo on me. Good Job. :)

But to be on topic, AW Nelson just screams dinner.
Any decent BB player will have AP ready.
But if you insist, well then...who to stop you (except AP of course).

go SW with quad N or trip 16" though i recommend to use quad N because you have low lvl
gunners. Catch the enemy off guard and rush in to do some massive damage, using trip quad
will also give you the satisfaction of one shotting bb3s and below.

Sorry dude, you can't have it all...Nelly isn't a AWing ship anymore, only if u want to
use the 15" duals, but than u loose the firepower...
using 14" D is ubber fail, because even if u manage to rush while the enemy is blind
and manage to get in range, you would have destroyed ur enemy long before using
another set of guns...and u won't have that much of a firepower (still pretty heavy
since its blockshotting)
Man nelly is a great ship, with huge fire power, so speed is ur friend...if u get 1 good
shot at ur enemy u'll atleast heavly criple him, and people know that, so if u try to
rush them at like 35 knts they will just run
If u want a armor whore, train another BO, its a great way to train ur crwe up and i
assure u the other grind is much more fun, first u have revenge that is a explendid
bb1, with great fire power, good spread and nice range(use the markll L, and not
the old rpl D), QE a great bb2, than u get
KGV, and u'll be able to put like 10" deck easly

If you want 12" of deck armor, here's the step by step:
1) Put on 15" duals.
2) Put on BO and 1 Gunner. No supports.
3) Pile on the armor.
(If you don't get 12")
4) Change your engine to SS Engine I (Light).
5) Pile on moar armor.
6) Rename your handsome Nelson to "Royal Buffet".

As I recall, the only ship to ever have 12+" of armor was the KGV, pre-ONF. My cousin had
13" or something like that, total meat shield until the AP comes raining down. The most I
ever got out of a Nelson must've been 8.3" - 8.6" with at level crew. (Memory could be
fuzzy, that was nearly 3 years ago.)

Modern Nelsons can't armor that well anymore.
