i used to dislike the hobbit map in blitz but now i love it.. all they have done is made
the games faster, and more challenging.. you no longer have to spend 20 minutes searching
for that tiny dd to end the game.. instead you can just kill it end the game and start the
next. get your xp level up..

blitz is used to level new crews in an arena thats suitable for just that. and its fast.
the first 20-30 levels in blitz goes so quickly and thats why they have done it.. to get
you guys into more fun ships sooner.

once your in a reasonable ship you can hop into a gb and get even more xp but it takes a
bit longer to get a battle going.. i would personally say stick with blitz until you get
your bb1's or cv 1's i like blitz the way it is now.

Totally agree with this post. Hobbit map is the worst adition that NF has.
I played NF EU for some time and change to NF because when I can play everybody is
sleeping in Europe, and I found the unpleasent surprise of Hobbit map. Let the hobbits
for the movies, please.

A potential solution: Erase side borders for that map. CV큦 will have a safe space to
operate properly and other ships can stablish some defence against torps walls.

i agree hobbit war needs to be removed as the default map for blitzs.... its way to small

I enjoyed playing my CV in hobbit map. Loved getting 40k+ credits every 8 minutes in
blitz for torp bombing the enemy CV/BB/CAs. When playing CV in GB2 will give you that
much or slightly more every 20 minutes. Yeah it was tight, but built my skills. Gave me
torp practice saying that my torpers in GB2 get shot down by AAW before torp release.
Playing as a smart DD/CL/CA was fun as well. Didn't need to be AW'd or TW, blitz is just
a different play style than GB2 thats fun in its own way.

I will say from Experience that and AT lvl Kita my max damge in Hobbit war with it
was near 100k on a full 36 room! the map it self only promotes Twers and AW ship
setups and thats now how NF is played, Yes some ships can AW and yes if you love
torps SUBS and IJN are your line but I've seen quite a few BB1's with torps on them
in GB2's.

But would still like to see the default map as a bigger map with Hobbit as an
option. Too many players picking up awful habits AWing although being
able to range Yorks in a NDD is pretty fun.

It's actually pretty funny to change the map on people. It's Spanish Inquisition
levels of funny. Just as fun as switching to No Way Out 2 or the Island Map in GB2's.

And there's one place where Hobbit Wars shines - Armor Whoring. It is depressingly
easy to Armor Whore on this map, and hilarious to boot, considering most blitz
people don't recognize the B Ammo Locker as anything useful. Stick on a foot of
armor on a Sirius, run 5.25" (because only my AA gunners were proper level for Blitz)
and get the highest attack on your team over and over again just sweeping away
everyone except BBs and smart CAs.

2 month necro, folks. You can change the map now. If you don't like hobbit war (the
default map), then host a blitz game and use a different map. Problem solved.
