Keep in mind 12" will only do more damage then 14" from about 40 degrees+. If you plan to
fight under max rang then you are better off going with the 14"s. That all has to do with
the hangtime of 12".

The problem with 16" NM45 isnt the spread, its the fail BB1 range you'll have with it.

LK have made a comparison of 12" vs 14" on his USN BB guide sticky, it sums up pretty much
the choice you make.

Both have the exact same range

12" = more damage, heavier (read less speed prolly) and have longer hangtime.

Will make it more of a line ship, defensive.

14" = slightly less damage, lighter, but nice 30 max angle great for rushing.

Main issue with 14": dont even use AP its useless.

but the 14" mark 7 work great too (maybe the 16" duals work so good for me thanks to my

The title says NM 1930... 12" are BB1 guns, second set 14" are the BB2 guns for the remodel.

12" suits NM30 more than NM45, but it is usable. The main issue with 12s is that it has the
same cruising speed but shorter range than the 45's 14" gunset due to the heavy weight of
the 12s =_=

12" nm30 is fine, but you can't really run 12" on nm45

12" if you enjoy playing at maximum range. :)

For NM30: 3x 14" Mk 10 L

For NM45: 3x 14" Mk 7 L

You will perform badly with the 16". Those are meant for the Colorado.

So therefore, it will be the 14".
