My super yammy was at like 42 knt's with engi levels 105-120? somewhere around there. i
only have
4 engis and there bases are low like 1 11/10/9/10 or some where around there

try this.. fill information of ur engines (ability,vets,experts)
and OH ratio of Ship and its engine. you will see the result.
for example... my SY is 39 knots... just the same as the result from calculator.

I'll do some tests on the engy with less recruits this weekend as I'll be burning for
vets. I'll let you know my results.

Thanks for your test. If you felt so inclined, you could take some recruits off one of the
engies to see what true ability was your cutoff for 41knots.

Also I think what your problem is is that you have too many engies. Luckily for you, by
pure coincidence I happen to have an opening on my crew for a level 100-102 engy and
would be happy to help you out by taking one from you. I think they go for about 1mm
credits at the moment.

Haven't done OH time just yet, but I'll do that later tonight.


Edit OH TIME = 138.979 seconds ~ little over 2 minutes of OH time with at level engineers.
Not too bad I guess.

Column 1 is how much true engy ability you need with 2 engies.
Column 2 is with 3 engies, etc etc

Each row is max OH speed given a 25knots base speed.

Tell me how many engies you're running and I'll pop it in my spreadsheet.
