2.Is there a quick way to level up by SS?

3.What is the performance between MN SS3 &SS4 and other National SS?

to that comment above. 'KM SS4 is a joke'

KM SS4

Argueably the fastest sub in the game.

Proximity torps that hardly dud, making it great vs enemy SS. Also missing less against
any ship making up for having only 4 torp tubes. And a monty ? it would take most subs
around 3-5 launches to kill what im assuming is a very high buldge monty with full SD.
maybe the IJN ss4 cripples it in 2.

It has flak, something people often disregard. I have two gunners using flak on my KMSS4
the reload is brilliant and HE flak packs a punch because of that.
I still go 37knts with restore sailor on the rear torp slot.

Flak HE is the perfect counter to FF, DD, CL ASW ships. u can surface, blow them up
within 4 seconds before they realise what your doing. and dive again, giving enemy bb not
much time to aim at you.

Flak AA is good for shooting a few planes and fighters down at the start. helps with
creds and exp. 1 or 2 binds shud be fine.

Also I have a lvl 85 crew on the ss which is overleveled for the ship and it still goes
37knts and 40knts if i remove the gunners.

"""my opinion MN has the best ss1 and 2nd best ss4, only because KM has proxy torps
and hardly dud"""

km ss4 is a joke.
you need more than 3-4 waves to sink a Montana.

I'd class the sailors on time. Losing ability on your planesman or sonar might be a
crippling blow to your crew before it gets a chance to shine. Don't worry about SD as
your primary tool is invisibility, not uk repair rates.

Also, I'd strongly recommend playing anti-submarine roles while you level to your
own submarine in order to understand the nature of the beast. Both see other
submarines in action and understand how a asw works in order to be able to
counter it once you are in your own sub.

Sonar might ,if not, be the only sailor you can power lvl as support sailor and make him a
soft sonar later. The purpouse of this is doing an optimisation, making a sonar having a
well balanced ability for sonar/restore and repair ability.
Do this if you know how.

1. class on time

2. you could use the CL in the line to AA to ss2, but there isnt really any quick way to
lvl the crew

3. ss3 is rubbish, its long and slow, but the ss4 makes up for it, so small and
manouverable...

my opinion MN has the best ss1 and 2nd best ss4, only because KM has proxy torps
and hardly dud

1. class them on time, the minimum crew is:
1 ghosted BO, 2 torpedomen, 1 planesman, and 1 sonarman

2. APA FTW

3. all i got is SS1, i harldy use it but its better than other SS1's ive used
