  • Myoko VS Oyodo

Well i recently got my Myoko, i have try it but for me i think its better for me to stick
oyodo.

Reason :
GB2,
Myoko LoL range + 5 torps tube x4 = 15 ~ 1k atck

Oyodo LoL range + Dive Bombers + 5 torps tube x4 = 20K ~ 40k atck

setup:
Myoko - 2x Heavy Gunner, 1x BO, 2x 1st repair, 1x 2nd engineer, 2x Heavy
torpedoman + crew leveling (seaman)

Oyodo - 1x BO, 2x 1st repair, 1x 2nd engineer, 1 Dive Bommers, 2x Heavy
tropedoman + crew leveling (seaman)


Tactic: Myoko (TW) Oyodo (TW + DB)


Question : which ship should i stick to? and what type of setup should i use and
some good tactic for both ship.

p/s does shooting down planes give same exp as sinking a ship?

That is (as far as I'm aware) correct. You can safely skip the rookie pilot step (though
the gains are more in Repair and Restore than anywhere else).

Why delete the torpedomen, no one want buy ijn torpedo? I am currently letting a special
force level to 40, to change it on fighter . The plane caracteristic is less important
than if i put im on rookie pilot but i dont believe that will make a big diffence on the
final. I'm wrong ?

Both for me are lvling ships and fun ships Myoko is a overall Great CA it can
AW AA or play its orginal CA role.

As for Oydodo makes a ok TWer can AA and can luanch planes cant go wrong
there.

oyodo is best because oyodo can be a CV and CL. oyodo is good in aicraft battles and good
in cannonade so oyodo is the best than Myoko.myoko is only for close range not for long range.

Since the torp damage nerf, it's gonna be hard to lvl anything on kita...better of using it as a
AA

Why not keep the torpedomen, and level some supports along the TW/Kita line? >_>

Lol this is being asked..

Mate, first off, ask yourself what you want to do?

If you are going BB route, DELETE YOUR TORPEDOMEN, AA some scouts (and grow some
DP gunners.. refer to my guide..) and wait until Kongo lvl. Now go back and make a
second BO and make some more supports. If you are going BB line, checkout Booms
guide also.

If you are going CV route, DELETE YOUR TORPEDOMEN, AA some scouts, sell your
gunners, etc and make some fighters (keep one of your dive bomber pilots) wait until
Hosho or Junyo and Fighter whore till your lvl 120.

If you are going Sub line.. too bad wrong line..

Use triple 6.1" (or if you can't deal with the low rate of fire, dual 3.9", 5", or 4.7")
guns on the Myoko, shoot down enemy planes (especially scouts and fighters), and scout for
your team. Exp will if anything be higher if you get lots of personal credits instead of
lots of attack. Also, scouting for your team will get you rather more wins (and therefore
more exp). Arguably, a rookie pilot is the second most important crew member on a
CL/CA/BB (after the gunners)...
