Penny is fast. 12 shells is awesome. H39 is food.

yeah i would have to agree that wen your in range you can do alot of damage quickly having
sunk a dunker with my pensecola and really surprised myself by 2 shotting an iowa( 4 bar
gold) with my NC ( lvl 85 rld gunners)

I am with Compass on this one. Penny 43 is by far my favorite USN BB. Anything less
than 100k attack is a bad game to me when I get it out of harbor. Most important thing
to do is attack the enemy when they are blind or occupied using your over heat wisely.
H39 and H44 are easy to sink once you are in range depending on how well you are at
dodging. The L2 is a bit more challenging, but can be handled fairly easily. The SY can
be tough to catch with its 42 knot over heat. The only bb5 I don't like to mess with is
the Monty just because of the 12 shells.

If you somehow get in range of an H39 or an H44, you will tear them to pieces if you can
get the hits. The same goes for most BB3s and up. Your low angle allows you to ignore
deck and simply fire at belt. With a well-timed use of HHE, for example, you can clobber
an L2 in 2 good hits. That being said, getting in range is the hard part. Once you get
in range, you'll beat most ships from sheer firepower and belting.

Penn 30, or 43? I suppose that the Penn 30 could pull off some amusing things against
BB5s... with a CV supporting it and 4 level 100+ engineers. The Penn 43 can do 26/44 with
AA at level, allowing you to plink enemy scouts, dodge enemy shells (moreso against a
Yamato than H39, though), and relatively easily return fire (yay, 30 degree guns).
