Finally, after grinding my way 62 levels of hell (Well, I suppose the first 12 weren't so bad 'cause everyone was even...) I made it to my 'Horst. I get to enjoy the awesomeness that are the tripple 11" Ns. Barring the fact the the British 12" have pretty much the same range as me, more armor, better repair, better restore, and a ton more damage per a shell than me, I'm pretty happy. But I can't see a bloody thing. Not even close. I have 360 experts and 50 vets, so my BO isn't lacking exactly. Regardless my shots are so poor I have to get a few angles closer and...well, there goes my slight advantage and all my disadvantages come crashing down upon my head. I'm used to having to guess where my shells are landing (I mean, heck, everyone does) but this is insane. I can't see them about 3/4 inches before they hand. Again, I'm pretty good at guessing where they land, but I can't hope to know whether my shot fell 10 pixils too far or 10 pixils too short. Fine tuning my aiming isn't possible.
Now what I suggest is either upgrading German FCSs, slightly, to reduce this or perhaps give our BOs a +2 bonus.
For the BO bonus, let's assume the Sailor is properly upgraded, has a +15 pot, and has a 32 base stat. At level 1 that means his pot is 32. 11 levels of leveling will mean his pot is now 197. 50 additional levels will mean 1097 at level 62. Now let's compare that to a "new" german BO: 1197 at 62. Barely a 9% advantage over other BOs. But I think that'd be just enough to be able to use our advantage. Pretty much the only one we have. A slim advantage at that, too.
