I put guns on mine, just because I had two of the US support-gunners to use once
my BB no longer needed them. But the guns are pretty lackluster, I admit.

I find guns on the Yorktown are totally useless... the small guns you can mount are not
good for anything except maybe defending from agressive fish... you would even not be able
to gun it out with a DD... only Essex and Lexi can mount any usable guns in the US CV line...

If you do want to put guns on em the 5" singel AA DP guns are the best.

i have a yorkie and i have them on, it is rare for a FF to get though the BBs and DDs so
ur probably not going to use them much. but put them on for the possibility of a sub(if u
do face a sub u will have a better chance to run away from it, but u should keep them on
just incase

Yorktown? No... your best bet is to either put support /extra pilots in the gunner slots..
or put your gunners to lvl them up for when you get a CV with proper gun mounts.

As it is now, even if you put guns, an FF will outgun you.
