No, the man is right, the tenny is a monster thanks to its large engagement arc.
There is just a small 40 degree cap directly in front and directly behind where all 4
turrets cant be brought to bear...this makes rushing in and out while keeping guns on
target very easy and fast, which gives the majority of bb4 and 5 players fits trying to
hit it. The only BBs I fear in my tenny are armorwhored brits (since 30degree AP is
useless and i use the 14s) and the few remaining veteran players who, like me, learned how
to drive a bb by earning their xp in brutally cutthroat bb123 rooms.
personal GB2 records:
Tenn '45: 255k
new mex 45: 226k
CO: 206k
Penn 43: 186k

Woulda done more in the penny but 4 binds isnt enough ammo! The COs real advantage is
that it can use the dual L variant 16s with 4 binds of ammo (enough to kick ass all game
long), but most
people dont know how to survive long enough to go through 3 binds anyways.

"lvl 100+ BVE'd crew + Sodak's triple 16'' D gun = Lotz of fun. "
it also = food for any bb2+ using the guns they are supposed to and more than 3 brain cells.

@Stormvanger

Disagree here, Colorado is probably Best US BB2 mainly because of the Trip 16's.
Sure, they dont have range but if you can get it time properly, you can basicly 1-2
shot anything out there.

thing is, its awesome for a BB2 but...it still cant compare to a BB4 so all the hype only
holds true when facing BB2s nd 3s...

One of the big limitations of this ship that nobody mentions is the relatively narrow
arc of engagement. Anyone who has played an Atlanta knows what I'm talking
about.

The atlanta's problem is that there is only a 60 degree arc on each side of the ship
where all the guns can engage. The Colorado has a similar problem, with a 90
degree arc to either side, the smallest of any BB of any nation.

That's why my vote for best BB in the US line is Tennessee. The Tenn45 has a 140
degree angle on either side of the ship where all 4 turrets can be brought to bear,
the most of any US BB. This means the ship can keep firing even on steep approach
or retreat without spending extra time waiting for one set of guns to rotate around
the ship.

Actually, for an at-level crew... you aren't exactly "quick" in the Colorado.

Weakness: Glass-Jaw, somewhat slow. 40-degree guns (negligible)

Strengths: Everything else (for a BB2). If you manage to land a full salvo, it hits like a
BB4, but lacks the 45-degree guns to punch through armor like an Iowa or Monty.

Well it is a great ship, has great range and is quick. You have a wide selection of guns,
you can go with the triple 16" (least range more damage) dual 16" (great range, spread
isn't that great, but damage is good) or triple 14" (great range, fast reload less damage)

I personally think it's the best bb2 around, but with most bb2s you will be outranged by
everyone, die quickly if fighting against a bb3 or 4 or 5. But yes, I would recommend it
more than the New Mexico.

It boils down to moving quickly, and choosing which guns you want. I would choose the dual
16" or the 14" mainly because they have range - a must to hitting anything! If it's just
for fun then use the triple 16"!

I hope this helps!!
