Well at least it can AA most of the PCA's besides the Asama make decent AA platforms and
can be used to level up crews, So its not 100% useless.

I was upset when I first spent my $$$ on the PCA Furious because, as others have said, it
sucks at-level. The UK trip 15" spread will always be a bit wild, but it is especially bad AND
has a long reload time with at-level crew. You may be better off with trip 8" and lots of
armor in a Blitz environment.

Hell, I even ran my Furious as a TW (highest level, x5 launchers). It holds one salvo per
launcher, but you get 6 launchers. Good for 15-25K easy in a Blitz.

BUT, if you are just looking to make the jump from County-> Revenge, it is NOT worth it.

The value I got for my $$$ spent on the furious came back when I raised my UK SS/CV
lines. At that time, with level 85ish gunners, the extra support slots on the Furious are
perfect for leveling pilots or SS crews. The 15"s do significant damage against CA/BC/BB1,2,3
targets and the range isn't too bad either.

the furious is not that great at early levels if your useing standard starter gunners, the
spread is rediculously wide. how ever, with patience you can level up some elite acc gunners
to 50 in no time then the furious is a force to be reckoned with

i remember playing blitz in the furious with ebve gunners lol and i was sinking literraly
everything even the BB'S. furious with trip 15 is an epic CA to say the least. probably the
best.

down side is that its a massive target and not so clever in great battles. AA is ok but not
worth throwing a party for. make sure you go down the revenge line, ive played both and
the revenge line is definately better. revenge is the best BB1 in nvyfield.

also QE is a very nice and stable ship too.

kgv is ok fast little ship always use the qauds as they block, the range isnt too clever so pick
your targets wisely. and the pow is about the same except you can have 3 x qauds for more
power. where as the kgv only has 2 x qauds and a duel.

as for the L1 and the vangaurd. im not sure, im playing l1 at the mo and it can hold alot of
armour and packs a large punch and has more gun space. vangaurd well not sure not played
it yet.

Umm...no. PCA came out long before blitz was even played seriously.

Before BBs were allowed in blitz, PCAs main charm was a BB-ish ship capable of being
played in blitz. Now, they're just... not really worth it. (Moltke and Pensa is still a
good CA support platform tho)

Go Revenge. It was an absolute blast to play in blitz. Just destroy everything. Got a
couple of 35k matches in a Revenge. Plus it will start teaching you how to dodge torpers
and dbs because every CV in blitz will go for you.

In the right hands, the Furious can be an effective BB0.5 with a passable AA suite.

That said, you're just three levels away from the Revenge. Tough it out through those
three (or just AW your way through Blitz for lulz) and you'll get the best BB1 out there.
If you aim to go for a carrier at some point, the Furious might be a good leveling
investment, but I've been able to manage without.

Of course, I am quite the miser, so do whatever you'd like =)
