It makes them easier to hit when they're the only ship left in the battle. That's about it....

There was a time in the past when u ran ur ship aground you would lose DP, thus
people would do that to prevent from getting shot as much at the end of thegameto
prevent crew loss.

They have since reversed that and u dont take damage from funning aground
anymore. So the people that do it are...well...clueless?

The weight of the ship gets grinded into the beach that you will lose chunks of DP and
metal. Making you lighter and allowing you to move faster as long as you are in reverse,
to negate the gaping hole in the bow of the ship.

Ummmm... it really occurs (to me at least) when I am busy microing my fighters and then
bam, rocks.

cv on the rocks = woops
bb on the rocks = fail
