Its not ever going to be a battle changing ship...First round I picked it but decided I
had New York and Co for mid level fun..SO now have the KM. Do wish you well on this
petition for a USN Miss buff....maybe in the future some adjustments can/will be
made..hopefully not to far off future if all goes well ;) + ur supposed to use the
lazorz..btw

I'll admit the t slots are a disappointment.

but what they could do to fix it now, and which I've suggested, is to make a new ebb
gunset. (You'd want this for UK and MN as well just to be fair.) In the case of the
Missi, make a triple barrel version of the 15 degree NY EBB guns with BB2 range, and make
them weigh about 2000 per mount. That'd be sweet.

But until that happens, I'm happy to use the NY EBB guns on it. I'm averaging over 50k a
game with them, and that average includes the games where I'm getting vaporized by a Monty
or BB6 before I get into range. =)

Yep....We get a colorado with less AA space, less speed, and similar DP and same support
slots. Whoopee.

Meanwhile the KM gets a 50knt monster with bismark guns and 7 supports, the IJN gets a
nagato with an
extra support slot....We still get the shaft, BIG TIME.

Start spamming support tix again. The ships need to be balanced vs eachother like every
other ship class in this game...we should not be punished with a massively inferior ship
because we chose USN however long ago we started playing (almost 6 years in my case)

I have a Colorado for trip 16 Ds, and a Penn43 for 14 Trip Mk7s...

Looks like skipping it was the best thing to do T.T

And the verdict is in... R slots = 391, T slots = 40. Colorado gun space PLUS a
displacement buff to support it. Opens up 14" mk7l triples, 16" mk2L duals, and the
ever popular, short ranged SoDak D guns.

The 40 T slot space is interesting, and it's only improvement is for AA guns (unless
you feel like mounting single 6" guns for some odd reason). I've been using the
single 5"/ 38 cal Mark 30 Mod41 N guns with 2 binds of ammo, golden angle 39,
which work well enough. The buff will allow the L guns with golden angle 36 and 3
binds of ammo (plenty), or the 5"/ 54 cal Mark 16 L guns (golden angle 31) with 3
binds. The latter has great range, but lower damage, so I think the 5"/ 38 cal Mark
30 Mod41 L guns will be the choice for anyone who wants AA on this ship.

Now to see how fast it can go with the NY EBB guns... =)

Personally, I'm having a blast in the ship with the NY EBB guns. Averaging over 50k a
game in GB2, 42 knots, armor, lazors. If the redo of the ship increases displacement for
the larger BB2 guns like we think it will, then it'll go even FASTER with those NY EBB
guns. Win. =)

Wait, what? Now that you whined enough to get what you wanted you want more? Why? Get it
into your head: this will not be the last EBB available. There will be more later, in
future events. If you don't like the Mississippi as it is - a tier 1 EBB - dont pick it
after the upcoming patch. Don't compare it to the others, especially not to those that are
tier 2. Take it as it is: a BB1 with the option to choose bigger/different guns and an
additional support slot - just like the IJN and RN boats.

Should give it a gunset similar to the New York, 15 degree trips with BB2 range.

Anyone who thinks giving the Mississippi the BB2 gunset is a "victory" is fooling
themselves. A BB1 traveling at 24-25 knots with BB2 range is food, considering the
NM/Penn Mk7 gunset is designed for rushing. The only saving grace would be to give the
Mississippi access to the 16" gunset, since we're talking about slowboats in general.
