IJN fighters are overrated.
US T3s have the same speed as IJN T3s, so how exactly are IJN ones better at interception?
As for scouting, US T3s have the best sight-range out of all five nations, which IMO is far more useful than IJN's 5 seconds' worth of extra fuel time.
The only disadvantage US fighters have compared to IJN are lower AAW-resistance and lower bomber-stat growth. However, it can be easily solved by either super-vetting (~200 vets) or delay-classing your pilots.
