TG484
I had a few questions;

1.) What does it mean when my bulge armor says, bulge space 300 does it mean that only the
first 300 damage from torpedoes will be stopped or what?

2.) What does the potential stat do for a sailor?

3.) What are the pros and cons for each type of IJN ship SS, BB, and CV because i need to
choose one.

Angus had a great post. Just one thing I would add about TW is that TW is really a
dead-end line. It is really a lot of fun, but you should wait until you need a break from
the BB or CV line, you'll be able to level up fast into TW by power-levelling a BO and
levelling your torpers to tier 3 torp level in an AA ship.

Guide on bulge.

Beware, wall of text. Just fit as much bulge on as you can before your speed goes
down.

Potential stat....

Like all the other stats, explained here.

Pros and con of IJN SS/BB/CV...

I cant say much for SS and CV, but I'll say what I can.

BB Pros
massive firepower for their tier (amagi/SY/yamato/fuso/ise)
decent firepower for their tier (kongo/nagato)
good/decent speed for their tier (all?)
great AA
generally fun ships if played correctly
great AP effect for 45 degree angle guns
Fun/great EBBs
medium/good range

Cons
Fragile
only 1 major line
hangtime (amagi!!!)
Useless Premium ships (PBB,PCA,PCL)
delay classing AA gunner questions

CV pros
lots of choices
starts at lower levels

cons
really don't know.

SS pros
firepower

cons
slow
T4 only has front torp tubes

TW pros

only nation "allowed" to TW
great TW line of ships.
good torps (range, damage, or speed)

Cons
expensive
monotone playstyle

Personally, I'd take a look at your playstyle first, then choose a nation/ship line...
