Bumping this so other players can see the joke.

If you want to do this:

1. Open "Announcement.txt" in the Navyfield folder.
2. Edit the file, If you have too many characters on a line, the game makes another line that has a line number. EX (1.).
3. Save the file.
4. Load up Navyfield and skip the autoupdate by hitting F1. If you don't, the game will download its copy of the file and your edited file will be overwriten.
5. Enjoy your edited message.

Note: You must hit F1 evertime if you want to keep seeing the message or it will be gone the next time you start up.

For No. 7 it could happen if not careful...... (lol)

if papajohns was the head honcho, anyone who spoke against him would be banned from the forums, and the language filter would filter out sentences without swear words.
