If you don't have money to buy prem. I suggest you level uptill 53 before getting a
bogue (if you have got the New Orleans as your 2nd heavy cruiser ship in the US
ship tree).

This is because level 53 is the cap for your crew to get 100% exp on NO. After that,
your experience gain percentage will drop....

By that time I think you should have more than enough to start your 1st CV....

I ran my bogue with T1s in GB2 and did pretty good. The fighters may be weak, but they are
far from useless.

You SHOULD use Bogue for CV practice. You will be useless in any CV if you can`t lead
the team to win in blitz game by Bogue.

Actually Indy with DB is totally overspec in blitz.

How comes ppl think Bogue is that bad? Isn`t it just because your skill so bad, and
have been wasted your TB without hitting enemy?

for REAL advise, skip CV 1, USN have lot better ship can let you grind up to lv 60. so
just don't buy CV1 yet.

if you already did, use it until cv2 then, is even worst to sell the ship and buy, you
want to save $$ you MUST plan ahead so you don't sell things.

SELL anything to buy other stuff can suck you money dry fast.
I did that a lot back in 2008, and now I finally learn that just avoid them can save you a
TONS.

get PBB/PCA in one account, and then train them all, best PBB maybe AD/Seva, and Best PCA
is Moltke, and next is Pesa.
and for best low level play is AA, which KM is really good at, MN is not bad too.
so either get a KM account and train your Pilot on it till level 60, or get USN PCA is ur
choice.

sadly, IJN torp line only offer little support slot, since they are pretty high level, you
can train a HIGH level crew on them, but only 4 at time.

In all honesty, the money you make on a bogue depends on your level. Sure, you
have limited space, but it can be fun to drop lvl 100-120 FP's on a CV1. You can catch
a lot of people off guard with T4 fighters. You might not have many of em, but hey,
with US T4's, you don't NEED many. :-p

(I haven't tried putting T4 FP's on a CV1. But I have run T3's on a CV1).

@Cyber - if you carry scouts, buy a few land mind packs from the store. Join large
GB's and lay a patch or two of mines in the middle. Easy money :-D

You will see that you get more credits per battle. BUT killing aircraft will be really hit and
miss. If you can you can harm incoming bombers. BUT enemy fighters will chew you up
and spit you out in great battles. The thing I learned was to saty in blitz. IF you can
not find a blitz...then learn to use your torpedo bombers to kill subs, small ships, and
may be sneak them around to hit other carriers. You fighters will be no match at all.
You can also carry scouts, and launching one or two will help the BB's.

Just stick to blitz. Almost no one tries to dodge or bulge. Except for Picasso of course.

And it helps level your bombers really quick. The only problem is grinding fighters. They
will suck. And it takes a while to get better. Their decent at about 80.

I played my Bogue in blitz and it racks 30-50K credits per game (bomber whoring).
Fighter whoring (lulz) yields around 30K.

In the Indy, I had a very good bombing game and got 80K credits.

As to the question, the reason why you won't make much money in a CV1 is partially
because of fighter performance and inexperience, on top of the limited plane space.
Even if you use interceptors to kill T3's, they aren't much help to your team themselves,
and you won't know how to use them well enough to get enough kills to justify your
losses.

Really, as much as it sucks, your CV1 time would be better spent actually learning how
to play the ship and how CV and plane mechanics work, and worrying about the money
later; the better you get, the easier it is to get your money later down the road.
