Used to run a KM Medic on my IJN CVs, since the removal of vet death for pilots it's
really obsolete. Rather Put one more support on to crank up your SD and/or engine and rep
rate.

I have a medic in my km cv crew and I totally recommend to do it IF you want to be a CV
commander....

Crew death on CVs used to be ridiculously high. Medics were very popular for CVs. Slowly
but surely SDE lowered the vet death rate , then they buffed medics, and finally the
removed VET death rate from pilots shot down in battle to 0. This finally made medics
obsolete.

While your vets wont die on a CV you will lose experts. At times the expert death rate can
still be high and a medic will prevent most of those deaths. Experts are free however so a
medic isnt exactly useful for that.

In my opinion it's not worth it to train a medic anymore but you can if you want to

A medic provides a percentage chance that a crewman killed by enemy fire or aircraft being
shot down is instead NOT killed. The more ability the medic has, the higher the chance.

Critical hits from enemy fire can kill rookies, experts, and vets. Aircraft being shot
down can kill rookies and experts, and this is far more common than deaths by enemy fire.

As the name implies. It saves crew for death.

Normally used on CVs til vet death for plane death was removed.
