I agree with jamburg for the 8"'s 'IF you have a levelled gunners' but FTW 11"'s are the
best 'IF you have a hign level gunner most probably +10 ahead from your BO level'

i like using the 8"s cause they teach how to deal with a low amount of shells.

ONS 11" trips on Bayern FTW

you can't use 11" trips on a bayern.

and 8'' is a intermediate between the two

Technically, German 15cm guns were actually 149.1mm, and 28cm guns were
283mm, but they used the names given.

11" (203mm in the other post) are your way to go for massive lolz (which is pretty much
what this ship is for. Pointless otherwise)

Guns are bigger than the ship.

Note that 3x5,.9 L with the size and with good spread can make one nasty blitzraping aspirin.

I have seen mainly: 203mm (D second set), 170mm (sL ), and 150mm triple mounts (L).

The first setup gives you a fairly good amount of ammo. The second one gives you a
crapload of ammo. The third one is a bit limited in ammo.

If your gunners are on level, 170mm is the way to go. If they are a bit above level, 203mm
is the answer. I don't like 150mm trips due to their shorter range, but with high level
gunners they are fun (although you run out of ammo fast). If you want to have fun and
crave the WTF factor, set it up with 280mm singles, they're a blast.... almost useless but
fun.

Oh, I've also seen AA KM40 Bayerns.... yep. More WTF factor.
