"Just play for fun"

Because its so much fun watching your team fall apart around you because they cant even
manage a scout long enough to see the enemy let alone hold a flank.

To gain motivation, I think it is useful to find another ship that you can use and feel
comfortable with at-level to break up grinds on other lines. Right now I am going
through the County-Revenge grind (should have it by next week, at the latest). I try
and play five or six battles, and if I find I am getting killed all too often, I switch to my
Type-VIIA and play a few games, not caring whether I'm killed in the first few minutes or
not. I did this during the Hiryu-Akagi grind also, and by the time I was tired of the SS, I
was back to the CV saying "alright, let's get to level 74 today". This might not work for
some, but I find it generates as much motivation as necessary.

The grindage has always been horrible for me. I've never been a premium payer, too poor,
rather use the money for permanent upgrades to crew than temporary XP rate gains. Took me
two years of fairly constant playing to hit the BB3 level. And I'm still there now.

I break up the grind hell (Especially for ones like grinding Nevada to Penn 1943) by
keeping variety in what I play, and making sure I join rooms with fleet mates. Battles get
more interesting when four/five of your fleetmates are in there and you can hear all the
chatter over Vent about your battle. I tend to make a BO for almost, if not Every, line of
a nation so if I find that I'm say, tired of my Nagato I can switch to my Unryu, then
switch to my Kita, then switch to my Vickers, etc.

Said tank game is boring as heck imo.

I have a nice variety in ships. When my BB 4 to 5 grind annoys me, I grab my CV. When I'm
sick of CVing, I grab my Emden and flak em down. When I'm bored of that, I grab my Subs.
Rinse and repeat.

Take a 3-4-day break of NF. Then u'll have the same interest... I did this, at the York-
Renown grind at lvl 50... After a few days I had the same interest, and I told myself
that I'll get the Renown... This helps a lot

well, truthfully, the Iowa doesn't seem like a bad ship and geting that far is still quite
some time away for me...

maybe you could try to break up the grind by playing with another ship (like a CV), and
when you're sick and tired of getting your low-lvl fighters eaten up by T4s or getting
yell at by the other BBs, you'll naturally switch back to grinding through the iowa!!! :)

I like that one ^^^. So far, ive had to give up NF for the time being, mainly because
of grades, but otherwise these t4 fighters are eating me alive. So I've taken up to
alternating between NF and World of Tanks (beta).
