  • Which nation is best for run and gun?

I've read the forms and stuff and researched but it still doesn't answer it for me. I want to use run and gun tactics.
Which means high speed runs and high damage. I want to run circles around the opponents and pick whom I fight
and when as much as I possibly can. I figured I could do this with the USN but would the KM be a better choice or
maybe even the RN? I get the impression that the KM might be too light on the damage but te range would enable
me to be picky about engaging. As for the RN it seems like it is too heavy and slow. I don't feel the are fast
enough to run in and hit them with high damage lightning fast.

What are you guys talking about?

UK is rush in get some hits and rush back out while tanking it out.
US is get in range and do insane ammounts of damage
IJN is run and gun because of the high angle
KM is also run and gun because of their range and lack of ability to take hits.

Simple as that.

i have had all4 orrigional nations bbs my best hint for s run and gun would be uk
pow line (nelson line the bb1-2 grind is horrible) and run a sw front gun only kgv
pow l1 and l2 or if u decide you want to armor whore em it ends up costing about
10m for 10 inches deck and dont aw unless u can fit 9.5 inches or more of deck

IJN TW only works until CL stages... above that I rarely seen player usin torps
especialy in BB.
Run and gun is the IJN play style, if u wanna run and gun than use IJN.
IJN fast engine and 45" cannon will provide this style very usefull...

Ummm maybe I misse it but is there a good simple guide about which tactics work good for what nations. I
understood the perks each nation has but all I really got is if you want to be a TW be IJN I you want to be an AW be
RN and, the USN is balanced. I'm sure if I researched it I could find it but with all the information overload when you
first start out playing the game it's kind of hard to figure it all out and it would be nice if there was a simple guide for
it that spelled it out for is noobs for example I don't have a clue about subs or carriers. If I wanted to eventually be
a CV driver I don't really know which nation suits me. I did figure out I shoul start out with a BB line but thats
about it. I ended up using USN by the way and so far I'm happy with them.

I think you could like IJN, they have very slightly less range than KM but a lot more
firepower, and high angle guns give you a nice range advantage when running.

I went USN. I know at upper levels it doesn't matter. But up until I hit
the upper level BBs speed is a major asset. And so is damage.
A battle cruiser is what I'm shooting for. :)

The simple fact of the matter is that at BB5 level each BB5 can easily out play the others
if played well.

At BB6 level, KM has a very nice range advantage but (apart from a shell weight problem)
also has very nice damage.

Speed is not a big thing when it comes to playing at the highest echelons of BB play.
Range and skill become the most important.

Well for US the South Dakota can do that but its shell spread is poor so attack is
harder. I think 45 knots is post-nerf possible with all 3 turrets.

The UK has as options a version of a 2 x quad 14" gun POW with little armor at 47
knots and the Lion1 2 x triple 16" gun with bit of bulge at 47 knots and 3 guns at 43-
44 knots.

These numbers may a bit off and do require at least the correct level crews boosted
and Vetted with 100+ Experts on the Engineers.

If you are wanting to Run and Gun then you are going to want to go USN or IJN, KM has good
range but the higher level ships can't get out as fast.
