Okay guys, I told you that I would post another message once we got the pricing
guide for the Bismarck server done and on the site. Well, it has now been converted
over to an easy to use module on our site. It is our hope that this will make trading
on the Bismarck server go much smoother.

http://dafleet.pfwebsite.com/modules.php?name=Trade_Calc

We have tested the module and everything seems to work as it should. Please keep
in mind that this is merely a suggested base price that we think seems fair for both
parties involved. There are things that will effect the final total such as supply and
demand, multi sailor discounting, and others. We will however continue to keep the
list as up to date as we can, and hope to start working on add-ins to the listing. The
first of which will be to add the option to choose the sailor nation & job class.

There has also been talks of looking at generating a pricing list for the Iowa server
as well. Bullitt4106 & myself along with cheekyman07 (Iowa server) will start work on
this guide. Once we have it to were we think it should be, it will be released out for
others to give input on before the final is posted on the site.

I would also like to take a moment to reach out to anyone on the Bismark server that
would like to help out and lend their thoughts for the more detailed price list. We
would like to have a group that can meet and come up with an over all "good value"
chart for nation vs nation & class vs class prices. Once we get this info we can then
translate everything over into our database. We will require that anyone looking to
join this group once we are ready to have TS3 so that we can talk and work things
out much easier. You will also need to have a copy of Microsoft Excel or Open
Office.org as the price list that we will be working on is in .xls format. The last
request that we ask is that you have played the game for a good period of time, or
have a good understanding for the different nations and how they compare &
contrast with one another.

Anyone looking to join this team, please feel free to contact me either in game or
through the NF site messaging system. To everyone else, please check out the link
and let us know your thoughts. Let us know if we are heading in the right direction
with this or not. And if you like what you see thus far, remember recommendations
are always welcome. :)

Thanks,
Poage

Dear poage....

Thanks for everyone's hard work.

Not sure if you have built in Points vs Levels.

The Difference in added value for Level 63 to 64, should be every different than
Level 98-99. If your values are based on each 100,000 or 1,000,000 of Experience Points
as opposed to Levels I think that would be best.

Once that Directly in the formula, I might suggest that there is a Geometric vs. Aritmatic
progress,
for Experience Points. The reason being is People Rarely pay Big Bucks for Level 65, but
do for Level 95 because they now have the money and need that Level 95 Repair or Engine.

From a Formula Standpoint (Net Total Experience Points to CASH) and then Levels 1 to 60
might be Times 1.00 then Level 61 might be 1.01 and Level 120 might be 1.60.

These may be all wett, but I hope you get the idea. OR it could be not Level Based again
(but level based in the drop down. Experience Point 20,000,000 or whatever Level 60 is = 1.00
and then Experience Points 21,000,000 could be 1.01. This is a better Idea then Levels.
But when a player uses your interface it would still be Levels on the Drop Down Menu.

Thanks again. You can reach me on Yahoo IM - SirAlden

The pricing is based on 1 sailor. I guess the Bismarck server just has more credits being
traded around than Iowa.

Rich people out there in Bismarck. Or Iam poor, 19M for lvl50 gunners 60 vets 140
experts, or is it 19M each sailor, so 38M for both gunners?

LOL

It's sad to see that out of 195 views only 2 people have responded. Surely there are
more people out there that have thoughts on this matter? Do you think the calc prices
are fair? We would also like to know if any of the NF community are even using this calc
to figure up pricing when buying or selling? We need some feed back here guys.

And to those that have already provided feedback, thanks for all you do to help make
the game just a bit better for us all.

Adamai
where is the nation selection option.

i would ditch the stats option as people can browse, not many people have elite
crews they are willing to trade, and hardly no one has 12/11 sailors either. so i
would remove the stat selection option its too complicated.

instead have sailor type and nation type. and then level and bobs your uncle
heypresto you got your self a good solid sale tool.

but the new trade option in game does all this anyway ;)

That is something that we look to have in the newer version. This one was just a quick
"throw it out and see how everyone likes it deal". The newer one should be a lot more
in depth on stats and such.

No, it should be used as a base for all sailors no matter what nation or class. After all a
fighter is just as important to a CV as gunners are to a BB, and the same could be said
about all the other classes. They each play a very important role in the game. There are
however a few exceptions to this... restores, medics, seaman, and so forth. These sailor
are pretty much useless at high level so that would be where a person would have to
use their best judgement. We are working on a more detailed listing that will break it
down to the different classes and nations, but that will take some time to complete.
