Did a quick search, the answer may have been more hidden than I expected.
Does the 0.2" belt that halves torpedo damage also halve depth charge damage? In
the case of the depth charge suicides.

0.2" only stops damage from direct hits. Splash damage acts in a much weirder way, and
requires annoyingly large amounts of armor.

it should. dcs do the same type of damage as torps in this game
